Our visit to this café arose from the wide range of gluten-free dishes on offer, as well as the desire to escape the rainy weather. the offer was satisfactory. the prices are on the more expensive side. Especially the surcharge for non-cow's milk is a bit disappointing and out of date. Grilled cheese was good, rather dry. coffee so far satisfactory. Homemade iced tea, refreshing and fruity. But let’s get to the elephant in the room – or should we say hippopotamus? The life-size mural was a bit jarring, as was the rest of the furnishings. There is definitely a certain aesthetic there, but it didn't quite meet our preferences. Anyone who visits this café should definitely not miss a visit to the toilet. The anteroom was already a feast for the eyes. mirrored wall with colorful neon lights; Love for detail is evident here. When you enter the toilet room, this little place is suddenly not so quiet anymore. The chirping of birds over speakers, in combination with (artificial) plants on the walls and ceiling, makes you feel like you've been transported to the jungle. We really liked this atmosphere and made visiting the toilet very pleasant.
1. Employees look like they have Down syndrome
2. It says they have gluten-free bread. Went there 3 times and said 3 times they didn't have any left.
All Downies there
