A local, love the ethos however twice now have had a GF scone resulting in a gluten reaction. Contamination somewhere in the process? Cannot be contributed to anything else as deliberately tested on the second occasion. Wont risk it again :-(
Indulge in a delightful high tea experience featuring generous portions and accommodating options, perfect for a special occasion.

We had a beautiful high tea at Adoro. The amount of food included in the price was very generous and we all left very full. One of our guests were gluten free and they catered to this no problem with her receiving her very own tea for one platter witb almost the exact same as everyone else but gf. Everything was lovely the only one thing that was slightly lacking was the service. No one came back for a tea order, however this could be a teething issue as this is new to them!

Delectable Havana coffee. The barista knows what he’s doing as it’s hard to get a good long black these days.
The gluten free carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had. Outstanding. Better than any other including gluten free speciality places in Wellington.
I can’t wait to return with more time to indulge.

Stopped by for brunch at this cafe in Napier. The cafe was busy which is a good sign. The service was fast & friendly, and the food was very good including both sweet & savoury cabinet options for gluten free. A menu is available but we bought food from the cabinet, so can't comment on that except to say that the soup seemed popular as they sold out of both options.
Kickstart your day with a charming atmosphere and impressive breakfast options, perfect for those with dietary restrictions!

I was immediately taken with Mister D when I discovered they make their own breads, preserves and doughnuts. Not only that, they make their own gluten free bread and cornbread! We loved the ambience and the coffee, would have loved to go back before leaving Napier. Wonderful service. Recommend!

Friendly staff and great, fresh gluten free options. We go here at least once a week and I can always rely on them to have something tasty I can eat. Fantastic.
Lots of outdoor seating, lots of pies my mince and cheese pie was very good, and had some gluten free sandwiches. Has a milk bar feel about it rather than a cost cafe.
Enjoy an excellent mocachino with coconut milk and a tasty vegetarian stack that's packed with fresh ingredients, making for a delightful experience.

I stopped by for lunch and a coffee. Coffee; mocachino with coconut milk was excellent. I had the vegetarian stack with bacon. Served promptly, plenty of spinach, bacon, portobello mushrooms, a little more capsicum dressing would have been appreciated. All up though lovely. I also appreciated their knowledge of dairy & gluten free food. Well trained. Would go again.
I can't say enough good things about Ajuna. I've had brunch and lunch there on a number of occasions and it's always been fantastic. The meals are lush, abundant, fresh, delicious and all-round yum. There are interesting dishes such as the smoked fish, and the caesar salad was amazing. Everything is very fresh. Easy for gluten-free/celiac too.

Glad we found this delectable cafe before we left town. Out of everywhere we visited this week this one's was the best.
Coffee was delicious , eggs Benedict with salmon and the big breakfast. Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was perfect. Loved bring by the seaside and how modern this cafe is. Definitely recommend a visit.
My sidekick said the gluten free bread was the best he’s ever tasted. It’s made on site and looks delicious!

Food was delicious and the staff were very aware of coeliac and cross contamination. I had no reaction to the food and it was one of the best GF sandwiches I’ve ever had. It wasn’t a dedicated kitchen but they were very careful with preparing the meal and making sure there was no cross contamination.
Experience a cozy vibe with amazing smoothies and standout carrot cake, plus a veggie quiche that's earned high praise.

Had a very pleasant coffee experience here in the past. This time came with Dad for afternoon tea. I am neither gluten averse nor vegan, but their Carrot Cake offering for those that are was most excellent. Lots of that nutty carrot cake texture, and a well balanced flavour. Perhaps if the otherwise excellent icing was slightly less sweet? The Booster smoothie was top tier, and something I'd happily order again. The great taste while still containing Spinach meant I felt healthier with every delicious sip.
My Father gave the veggie quiche an impressive 8/10, which is extreme praise from a man who can complain about anything. When pushed to elaborate, he stated "it was very nice". High praise indeed. We'll be back.
Offering an extensive menu with enticing platter options, this spot is a must-visit for diverse tastes and well-managed safety measures.

A duty manager took our meal order and did not fill us with confidence that he understood our insistance that one meal had to be gluten free.
Very small meals
Staff passed plates in front of us to others at our table
After asking if we wanted coffee or desserts and us replying can we have five minutes, they put a chemical through the coffee machine. So we were unable to have coffee.
I don't imagine we will eat here again.
Great spot to sit outside with friends in the large shady yard. Good selection of gluten free food, and dog friendly as well. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in Napier.
Great coffee, great kawakawa tea and other varieties of beverages, highly recommend the coffee and Gluten free chocolate brownie combo. Fantastic friendly staff.
Bathroom on site, outdoor seating under umbrellas.
😋 delicious sushi, always fantastic service. But I wish they could do a gluten free dough for their pork stem buns or put the meat in a rice paper package. Yum
A place where the team goes above and beyond to accommodate special dietary needs, ensuring everyone feels included.

Our child has celiac disease and therefore needs gluten-free food. The staff really went out of their way to get our child something to eat, even though the gluten-free rolls were out of stock or out of stock.
You need google to find this place, tucked between the warehouses in a port side lane way. But persevere, it's well worth it. A great range of cooked breakfast options, toast that's crisp and tasty and a full and separate gluten free menu. Spacious outdoor seating area to boot. What's not to like?
This spot is a hidden gem for pie lovers craving delicious gluten-free options made fresh upon request.

I was lucky enough to be told this bakery makes gluten-free pies on request. I haven’t had a pie in years so I asked for half a dozen and they are SOOOOO good 😋 I’m going back for sure. Thanks Wisey’s.
