Completely gluten free and Italian owned so you can buy niche products too, the restaurant two doors down as well is owned by the same people and the chef is an Italian celiac chef. His food is incredible and he specialises is seafood but also makes handmade pasta for each dish.
Expect a warm, welcoming vibe with a cozy atmosphere, tailored experiences for groups, and delightful surprises that keep everyone happy.

The staff here make the place, they are incredibly kind people especially the young ladies working 1130ish today. The food is outstanding, excellent service the cakes and scones are some of the best we’ve had. The Gluten Free Afternoon Tea is a real plus, lots of other options available for GF too. Can’t wait to come again
Enjoy a buzzing vibe with amazing flavors and a diverse menu catering to various diets, perfect for gatherings or a casual day out.

We have now visited three times . Twice in a afternoon for coffee and cake and this Christmas eve for evening meal out.
I found staff to be very helpful and patient. It as a good gluten free menu as my wife is gluten-free. It also has a good vegan/vegetarian choice as my daughter is vegetarian. It's also dog friendly so if you have a pooch it's a good place to go . Every time we have been it's been busy but we have always managed to get a table . Would recommend for all to enjoy
Expect a cozy vibe and big portions that wow, plus a thoughtful team ready to make your experience special from the moment you arrive.

The chicken and waffle was absolutely divine. The crispy, perfectly seasoned fried chicken paired with the golden, buttery waffle was a match made in heaven. Every bite was an explosion of flavor—sweet, savory, crispy, fluffy—all at once. Whoever came up with this combination deserves a medal.
Then came the blueberry pancakes… and let me tell you, don’t let the words “vegan” and “gluten-free” fool you. If anything, they made them even more incredible! Light, fluffy, and bursting with fresh blueberries, these pancakes were pure perfection. I was skeptical at first, but one bite and I was completely sold.
The latte? Simply exquisite. The coffee-to-milk ratio was spot on, creating the smoothest, most balanced cup I’ve had in a long time. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the barista surprised me with a beautifully crafted heart design on top. The attention to detail was unreal!
Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but trust me, every single penny is worth it. I will definitely be coming back very soon!

I brought my friend who has a gluten intolerance to Birdhouse because the menu offered many gluten free options. However it's not explicit that the gluten free pancakes are actually waffles, of which are very small and a bit hard. My friend was really disappointed by this, we've been to many places which provide GF options and the waitress did not make it clear the pancakes ordered would actually be waffles. Not only that but my pancakes were very poor, they tasted heavily of baking powder and it wasn't a great experience overall. I think for spending £30 really it was all style but no substance. Not making it clear with your menu that the GF are an alternative choice is pretty poor. Disappointed as so many people had recommended yourselves but it fell short with both service and taste. The cafe was also very cold. I would say to people seek alternatives, there are so many options in Sheffield. Really disappointed.

Went for a lovely meal for my birthday with my family at the Sheffield Arena venue & there was 12 of us. I had the carbonara with extra chicken & it was amazing. Portion size was perfect as it filled me right up. Staff were amazing with the kids in the party making sure they had the colouring sheets on the back on their menus to do with plenty of crayons. Plenty to choose from on the main menu with gluten free options being available if needed. The kids menu has got quite a lot of choices & has both small eaters for younger children and big eaters for older children options. The kids meals include a drink, main course and dessert with the price on those being I think £6.50 for the small eaters and just over £8 for the big eaters so really good value. Main menu well priced too with the average spend being between £12 - £18 but it is really good quality. The staff were amazing with everyone in my group always making sure if we wanted more drinks or not.
Will definitely be back for a future visit to try something else on this amazing menu.
Our main waitress was called Jodie who is an absolute credit to the team & we left a nice tip for them as they deserved it for all their hard work

The food I had at The Chakra Lounge was good. I was impressed by the assurance that loaded fries are coeliac friendly, and the service staff were great at double checking with the kitchen.
Only thing is not a lot of choice for coeliacs, hence the 4 stars not 5!
Smoothie was 10/10

We attended on a Monday night for a family meal with three children and four adults. Two of the party required strict gluten free food and our server Samanta was precise and careful with her menu advice. There was a lot of GF options and some possible mitigations. We enjoyed a range of high quality starters, mains and desserts and one of the Coeliac diners was blown away by the GF pale ale.
All in all, a wonderful weeknight dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive and friendly service. We felt very well looked after and look forward to returning.

Really love this place. Great coffee and vegan cakes. Often some gluten free options too.
Only thing to make it better would be if the windows could open to lessen the covid risk as many people are still more vulnerable such as people with auto immune conditions <3

Two young people who love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I very much enjoyed chatting with the owners and learning about the cuisine. It's all gluten free and the vegetarian options were amazing. My favourite was the homemade gulab jamun and chai. You can also take your pooch along too if you have one. What more do you need?

We were so impressed with this place. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes, giving lots of info on the restaurant itself which was interesting. The food was exquisite, really professional (Michelin Star worthy I'd say) and delivered to the table really quickly. Loads of vegetarian options with a gorgeous vegan & gluten free main which I had. Really relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Will definitely be going back!

I would give Jameson a 10*review if there was an option. We went for afternoon tea. A table of 6 with 3 very different dietary requirements ( df, soya free, gluten dairy nut free). From the moment I spoke to Antonia on the phone to book to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. We all had the full afternoon tea experience including df cream. They knew I was soya free and 1 of us was gluten free so made the days scone special to accommodate and they were the best scones I've ever had. If you have special dietary requirements this really is the place for you. Antonia was extremely diligent and didn't make us feel like a nuisance. The actual afternoon tea was amazing but we couldn't eat it all so they gave us boxes to take what was left home.
If your in Sheffield and want afternoon tea Jamesons is a must. We will return when we're back up this way.
Well done team Jamesons
Lovely coffee shop in Walkley. My first visit but it was clean, well designed and friendly.
Really tasty vanilla spiced latte and a cheeky gluten free millionaires shortbread for later!
Such a pleasure. Busy but homely beautiful cup of coffee and the food looked Devine!! I'm a celiac and was impressed to see the option for gluten free toast but was so sad to find no gluten free cake options on the day. We went Saturday morning around 11am and the service was polite and speedy. Certainly be returning hopefully there will be some GF cake next time.
Great vegan and gluten free products, we tried the doughnuts, macaroons and cinnamon buns, all very good. My daughter was happy with the amount of choice available to her for once

Great experience watching the six nations. Food was brilliant and they cater well for people with coeliac disease, we'll definitely be back! Higgy was especially great at talking us through the options and processes for making sure the food was gluten free. Only things that could be slightly improved were the wait time for food was quite long (it was busy though and when it arrived it was delicious) and it would be good if they had one or two alcohol free spirit options

The environment is dreamy. The staffs are very hospital, and the quality of the coffee is what you expect from a good afternoon coffee drinking with a friend. The location is fantastic. I can't go there and not take photos of the environment and the beautiful tree. Their cakes and pastries are excellent. They have dessert for any taste. Their Gluten free cakes are my favourite since I am a pre-diabetic. I go there every chance I get and take my friends with me. Did I mention how friendly the staff is? Try it for yourself.

Absolute treasure of a place. Staff friendly, food and coffee delicious, and very reasonably priced.
Asked for a sandwich made from sourdough as I have a slight intolerance to gluten so I eat sourdough instead of normal bread as it is better for me. They didn't have any but sent a member of staff across the road to get some. Top customer service.
And the apple and strawberry crumble my partner had was beautiful.

Myself and my partner had a beautiful meal here. The staff were brilliant and took their time to understand my needs as a celiac. There were extensive gluten free options on the menu and the kitchen assured us that they would be prepared separately to any gluten. I have a strong reaction to the smallest amount of cross contamination and I felt absolutely fine after the meal. We can’t wait to go back!

My partner and I visited recently and bought cannoli’s. When I grabbed one out the bag, I found it was covered in caramelised nuts. These were listed as being gluten free, but with zero mention of nuts. Being allergic to peanuts I went and asked what nuts were in them in case I needed to go to hospital and I was just told they contain ‘nuts’. It’s concerning that they can’t clearly state what contains nuts, or what nuts are in their products.
