My family are difficult to cater for, coeliac, vegetarian and one who is not very adventurous with food. It was my daughter's Birthday and we ate here. OMG the food is amazing, fresh, loads of choice, great portion sizes, inexpensive. Staff, warm friendly. The whole family were catered for, will definitely return. If you aren't GF, dont let visiting this amazing place put you off, you would never know it's GF. I had the arancini, my son had the mushrooms on toast, my daughter had a burger, all the GF food is so tasty , not like supermarket alternatives. GF or not, go to this amazing place.

We have now visited three times . Twice in a afternoon for coffee and cake and this Christmas eve for evening meal out. I found staff to be very helpful and patient. It as a good gluten free menu as my wife is gluten-free. It also has a good vegan/vegetarian choice as my daughter is vegetarian. It's also dog friendly so if you have a pooch it's a good place to go . Every time we have been it's been busy but we have always managed to get a table . Would recommend for all to enjoy

I may be bias but the gluten free is amazing here, my mother works here she makes all the gluten free cakes and afternoon teas as well as all the other goodies but the care taken by the team is honestly wonderful. I’ve eaten here countless times and found that mostly everything on the menu can be accommodated to be gluten free

The chicken and waffle was absolutely divine. The crispy, perfectly seasoned fried chicken paired with the golden, buttery waffle was a match made in heaven. Every bite was an explosion of flavor—sweet, savory, crispy, fluffy—all at once. Whoever came up with this combination deserves a medal. Then came the blueberry pancakes… and let me tell you, don’t let the words “vegan” and “gluten-free” fool you. If anything, they made them even more incredible! Light, fluffy, and bursting with fresh blueberries, these pancakes were pure perfection. I was skeptical at first, but one bite and I was completely sold. The latte? Simply exquisite. The coffee-to-milk ratio was spot on, creating the smoothest, most balanced cup I’ve had in a long time. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the barista surprised me with a beautifully crafted heart design on top. The attention to detail was unreal! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but trust me, every single penny is worth it. I will definitely be coming back very soon!

Lovely gluten free cheesy garlic bread - nowhere else gets anywhere close to this. I actually took my food away this time but the atmosphere was nice as I waited and the cook time was less than 10 minutes

Absolutely LOVE this place. The gluten free options were amazing, pretty much the whole menu bar croissants (which coeliac thinks they’re getting croissants anyway!?) and their immediate knowledge made it all feel very safe. The tots are amazing, as is the eggs Benedict. Lovely vibe and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely return!

Good range of gluten free options. We had summer spring roles, lemongrass chicken rice bowl and lemongrass chicken gf noodles. Enjoyed the fresh herbs and aromatic flavours. Restaurant busy with nice atmosphere for a late Saturday lunch

We attended on a Monday night for a family meal with three children and four adults. Two of the party required strict gluten free food and our server Samanta was precise and careful with her menu advice. There was a lot of GF options and some possible mitigations. We enjoyed a range of high quality starters, mains and desserts and one of the Coeliac diners was blown away by the GF pale ale. All in all, a wonderful weeknight dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive and friendly service. We felt very well looked after and look forward to returning.

Great experience watching the six nations. Food was brilliant and they cater well for people with coeliac disease, we'll definitely be back! Higgy was especially great at talking us through the options and processes for making sure the food was gluten free. Only things that could be slightly improved were the wait time for food was quite long (it was busy though and when it arrived it was delicious) and it would be good if they had one or two alcohol free spirit options

Really love this place. Great coffee and vegan cakes. Often some gluten free options too. Only thing to make it better would be if the windows could open to lessen the covid risk as many people are still more vulnerable such as people with auto immune conditions <3

Two young people who love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I very much enjoyed chatting with the owners and learning about the cuisine. It's all gluten free and the vegetarian options were amazing. My favourite was the homemade gulab jamun and chai. You can also take your pooch along too if you have one. What more do you need?

I would give Jameson a 10*review if there was an option. We went for afternoon tea. A table of 6 with 3 very different dietary requirements ( df, soya free, gluten dairy nut free). From the moment I spoke to Antonia on the phone to book to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. We all had the full afternoon tea experience including df cream. They knew I was soya free and 1 of us was gluten free so made the days scone special to accommodate and they were the best scones I've ever had. If you have special dietary requirements this really is the place for you. Antonia was extremely diligent and didn't make us feel like a nuisance. The actual afternoon tea was amazing but we couldn't eat it all so they gave us boxes to take what was left home. If your in Sheffield and want afternoon tea Jamesons is a must. We will return when we're back up this way. Well done team Jamesons

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Sheffield, the best Thai food I have had in the UK. No matter what I order, it’s always so good. It’s so good we even had our first wedding meal here after getting married! They even had gluten free options for my father in law My favourites are: - salmon pad Thai - hainanese chicken rice - pork belly bites - spring rolls but with the satay peanut sauce - khao soi beef brisket noodles - pad kra pao with rice and a fried egg - tom yum goong And of course for dessert you have to get the mango sticky rice! This is always a treat for us, and one we will absolutely keep coming back to!

Myself and my partner had a beautiful meal here. The staff were brilliant and took their time to understand my needs as a celiac. There were extensive gluten free options on the menu and the kitchen assured us that they would be prepared separately to any gluten. I have a strong reaction to the smallest amount of cross contamination and I felt absolutely fine after the meal. We can’t wait to go back!

Absolute treasure of a place. Staff friendly, food and coffee delicious, and very reasonably priced. Asked for a sandwich made from sourdough as I have a slight intolerance to gluten so I eat sourdough instead of normal bread as it is better for me. They didn't have any but sent a member of staff across the road to get some. Top customer service. And the apple and strawberry crumble my partner had was beautiful.

My partner and I visited recently and bought cannoli’s. When I grabbed one out the bag, I found it was covered in caramelised nuts. These were listed as being gluten free, but with zero mention of nuts. Being allergic to peanuts I went and asked what nuts were in them in case I needed to go to hospital and I was just told they contain ‘nuts’. It’s concerning that they can’t clearly state what contains nuts, or what nuts are in their products.

After hearing high praise from my partner, who previously worked here, I was eager to return after a year and a half. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from a culinary perspective. To start, the gluten-free bread was simply two slices of defrosted, toasted gluten-free bread, which prevented the balsamic vinegar from being absorbed properly. When I requested an additional slice to soak up the starter sauce, I overheard laughter and jokes from the kitchen staff, which made the situation quite uncomfortable. The gluten-free bread selection was far from satisfactory. Similarly, my partner found his bread to be stale and unenjoyable. The main course was equally underwhelming, with noticeably smaller portion sizes compared to previous visits. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered the polenta cake for dessert, but after just one bite, I had to send it back—it was simply inedible. Despite the poor food quality, the service stood out positively. Bethany was exceptionally attentive and provided a level of service that far exceeded our dining experience. She truly deserves recognition, whether through a promotion or a pay raise. The manager, Olga, was also very understanding when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the meal and made appropriate adjustments to the bill. Regrettably, this visit did not live up to expectations, and I wouldn’t return for another meal. However, based on the excellent service, I would consider stopping by for a drink if I were ever in Sheffield again. It’s a shame, as I was genuinely looking forward to this meal after my partner’s high praise. Well done to Bethany—keep up the great work!

Had a 'naked burrito bowl' here last week after looking at the great reviews. Unfortunately the portion was very meagre and the same price as the burrito, despite it not containing the tortilla wrap, and only one very small scoop of rice! It tasted okay but nothing special - the lime rice was cold, had no flavour, and they charge extra for cheese and guacamole. Nearly £10 for one scoop of rice, one of chilli, a handful of lettuce and salsa is outrageous. It's also disappointing that the vegetarian options are priced the same as the meat ones when they are clearly much cheaper to prepare. Being gluten intolerant and a foodie I'm also disappointed that the tacos are made on wheat tortillas which are not as tasty or authentic as corn/masa ones. Wouldn't return. If you want authentic Mexican food then I'd recommend Pellizco just doen the road!
