You can’t go wrong coming here for breakfast. The service is excellent, warm and friendly. I had the turkey mushroom omelette with zucchini added. They give you the option of splitting your side with 1/2 potatoes and 1/2 fruit. I even was able to have a side of French toast as they have gluten free bread and will make you whatever you want with it. Such a treat!
A cozy spot filled with delightful aromas and a rotating menu of inventive offerings, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or gathering with friends.

From the minute you enter you get the small town bakery/diner vibes. Very few tables but always busy. You are greeted with aromas of everything that is baking and there are so many options to choose from. I love that they always have a gluten free option and that it is not always the same thing. The cookies are so good and the cakes look amazing! I always receive the best service.
Breakfast lovers rave about the separate menu options and unique, giant waffles that steal the spotlight here!

Everything was fine, but affordable. My husband ordered a sandwich and side salad. The bacon on the sandwich was cooked perfectly. The side salad was disappointing. For myself, the gluten free menu was limited. The waffles I ordered were fine. Despite other online reviews, they no longer have gluten free bread.
Relax in a cozy spot that’s perfect for solo visits or catching up with friends, plus their iced teas are a refreshing must-try.

Cozy, clean, comfortable atmosphere. This is a great place to go solo or meet friends for lunch. The sandwiches and salad are all delicious and I appreciate they have gluten free bread as an option. The cranberry chicken almond salad and balsamic dressing, wow! So fantastic! Staff is very friendly and works hard. My only reason for docking a star is the black coffee. I've tried it several times and I just don't like it. Their other drinks are however all really good, I always taste my daughter's when we come. But I'm usually trying to avoid sugar so I love me a good cup (or two or three) of black coffee. But it's not going to deter me from visiting Missions often, my now go-to sugar-free drink is one of their iced teas, they're super refreshing and tasty. They are good hot too.

Stoped here on my way through, Jena was my server, she was incredible! She very knowledgeable and attentive to my gluten free needs. She took special care communicating with the kitchen to make sure there was no cross contamination. Highly recommend asking for Jena when visiting Black Bear in Auburn. 10 STARS for Jena!!! She was also a lot of fun to talk to! She introduced me to her coworker Samatha who I absolutely adored!! She was funny and kind! I highly recommended stoping here for lunch and a great time!!!

Really good food here. I love how much care goes into delicious potatoes here. I got a turkey and mushroom omelet with hash browns and home fries. And the decaf is good too plus they have almond milk for it and gluten free toast. Really enjoyed my breakfast here today plus really wonderful staff to boot and a neat location. Thank you.
Depoe Bay is an Auburn classic. The bagels are qlways good and they have a few gluten free options too. I'm forever in love with their peanut butter shake.
We ordered 2 of the chicken egg white sandwich meal gluten free for a total of $19.71.
The chicken was smaller than the ketchup packets we got with the meal and the eggs were about the same size as the ketchup packets. So essentially we were charged $20 for 2 bread sandwiches (the gluten free bun is edible but only tastes decent if most of the sandwich is meat/other ingredients), 2 small tater tots disks, and 2 cokes. Sadly the cokes were the best part of a $20 meal ☹️
We had never stopped in Auburn but decided to look for a diner. We wanted breakfast and found that they served breakfast all day. Huge omelets prepared your way. Even gluten-free bread. I'm in heaven!
