Delicious, very full menu. So many options to choose from and everything has always been fresh and yummy. They have dog-friendly outdoor seating and offer gluten-free options on some things. You wait in line to order at the counter. If you can't see the menu board there are laminated menus. There service is always welcoming and they bring the food to you, even when busy.
Our favorite thing on the menu is the California omlet. My Jewish friends came to visit and said their latkas were tasty. My son enjoys the the stuffed french toast
Canned beans. Minimal spices. Asked the server if there was milk or butter mixed into the rice or beans and she replied there is flour in the beans. My guess is she understood dairy allergy as gluten allergy. Service was ok but the food was terrible. If you hate Mexican food and dont like authentic flavors you will enjoy this spot.
Called in to see what gluten free options they had and the person who answered said there was nothing that was gluten free. I asked her to double check if bowls were gluten free and she double checked then came back and said yes the bowls are gluten free. I thanked her for checking then she hung up on me before I could order or anything? Super confused. She was very short with me on the phone and seemed frustrated that I asked her to double check so I will not be eating there or spending my money there if they are giving me that much of a hard time to figure out what I can eat. Very disappointed.

So far, one of my favorite places to get an acai bowl! Totally customizable with a variety of bases, my favorite is the pitaya base. I love that they offer a gluten free granola as an Acai bowl is complete without granola! So for my order it was a pitaya base, gluten free granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, bee pollen, and drizzled honey on top. Definitely worth trying.
They also offer multiple flavors of empanadas! The swiss mushroom is beyond delicious.
Their gluten-free brownies are so well made and delicious - the fact that they are gluten free is just like a nice bonus. I also get mine at the Santa Monica Co-op.
