It's always a great place to eat. They have gluten-free options, turkey bacon, and chicken sausage for those of us who don't eat pork. Always a welcoming atmosphere, and they appear to care about their customers.
First time going and this place is PHEMONEMAL! I ordered a gluten free sandwich and was immediately asked if this was for an allergy (yes). The gentleman assured me that all precautions would be taken, wiping down the area and preparing it separate from other sandwiches - love those safety protocols. My sandwich was $12.75 and came with a bag of chips and side pickle with NO UPCHARGE for the gf bread. This shop deserves an award just for not charging me $3-$5 for gf bread and instantly makes me want to continue supporting them because they are supporting me. As I grabbed my sandwich, the owner actually told me he made it himself and to enjoy! Truly a hidden gem!
Amazing. While visiting Lodi, we walked over a couple of times. Savory pastries and sweet pastries all excellent. We also picked up an Opera cake and a tiramisu for Christmas dinner, both gluten-free for my brother-in-law who has celiac. They were both outstanding. We live in the Portland area, where we have world-class bakeries. I can't imagine anyone giving this place less than five stars.
The owners, the entire staff and the food are all excellent. We felt like we were on vaca in Cancun! They really went all out on the decor and it’s very clean. The food is GREAT and healthy - menu states the sauces are gluten free and no lard in the beans - yay! The sauces snd their salsa are delicious. We both had chicken enchiladas and they were full of quality seasoned shredded chicken. The chefs said Good Morning and ‘Thank you for coming in’ as we passed by the kitchen. The entire staff thanked us on the way out. Our waiter Angel was personable and very quick with chips & salsa, drinks, our meal, and the bill but we never felt rushed. We will be back!! Will try the fish dishes next. Really hope restaurants are allowed to open inside soon. These owners and others deserve to serve inside. The booths have partitions between them so they will remain safe long after the pandemic ends! Go grab some great food here!
Not good place to go for dietary restrictions. Most expensive breakfast for very little food. I got 2 extremely thin pieces of bacon, two tiny sausages, and 4 eggs for about $17. The waitress wasn't helpful about it instead very pushy. I was ready to eat again when I left. A word of advice to Denny's, please, have a more reasonable menu for people with gluten sensitivity or for low carbers
