Being a Seattle native, I'm a serious coffee lover and enjoy exploring flavors from around the globe. I ordered a gluten-free bagel sandwich and a cold brew, both of which were fantastic! My sandwich was made fresh with spinach, tomato, cheese, avocado, and turkey. The cold brew was wonderfully smooth, complex, and earthy – perfect with a splash of oat milk. The owner was also friendly and a pleasure to chat with! Thank you!

This small hole in the wall place was phenomenal especially if you are gluten free. They changed their gloves prep the sandwich in a separate place and their gluten free bread is not small at all. They also stuff the sandwich to the brim. Come here if you love sandwiches especially if you are gluten free

Lunch diner where the Chef’s pride of ownership shines through. Shared the (gluten free) shortrib all day omelette with a side of fruit…DELICIOUS! Chef even plated it separately for us. Friendly staff and patrons. Great value!
Charming Parisian vibes set the scene here, with standout shrimp crepes and a fun menu for kids to enjoy while dining.

Dinner was amazing!! The atmosphere reminds me of Paris and the shrimp crepe with a gluten free crepe was incredibly delicious!! Yum!! They even had a kid menu to color on with some easy activities too. Also had the Nutella and banana crepe for dessert with the gluten free crepe and that was tasty too. It wasn't nearly as amazing as the shrimp crepes, but maybe that's because the shrimp crepes were insanely good.
A local favorite with a strong focus on delicious, evolving menu options that keep bringing visitors back for more.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie
This was the top search result from Google when I searched for 'gluten free' and 'vegan'. My friend with Celiac Disease would not do well here – no gluten free bread. There were many items with garlic, and since I am garlic sensitive, I was forced to break my eczema prevention no wheat diet. We ordered BLTAs and I added cracked cheese (I expected a vegan cheese slice) but it was like mushed cream cheese which made my sandwich thick, soggy and messy to eat. I was very impressed with the tofu bacon, so we came back three more times. I tried the Coachella Forever and Mini Greens salada. The key lime dessert was apparently very delicious. They have fridges and freezers full of take-away items, and a pantry shelves full of Japanese flavours and I really want to take some home with me. I bought the mango lime dressing, but it started sweating after three days, so I ended up throwing most of the jar away. We bought a blueberry pie, by it wasn't like a real pie, so we threw half of that away as well. BLTA is the only item we like and we will come back for it, the levain sour dough was chewy and I enjoy the tofu bacon a lot. If they offered gluten free bread or even use Vietnamese rice wrap on the sandwiches for a gluten free option, we would have eaten here many more times.
Enjoy a charming spot with tasty breakfast, unique decor featuring valley photos, and a clearly labeled menu for easy choices.

Rarely am I impressed with food out of my comfort zone but today was my first time eating this type of cuisine and it blew me away. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and explained the menu and they had gluten free choices on the menu. We will be regular customers and it's a 50 mile drive from Joshua tree
Magnifique'...service, food quality, and such a vast menu of meals, coffee beverages and desserts. I am gluten free so eating out is often a bit challenging however it was a cinch here. I loved the hot chocolate, and ordered the lunch special: omelette, with chopped grilled chicken, and goat cheese accompanied by a side green salad with a deelish balsamic dressing plus fresh berries on the side. This cafe even accomodated our party of 7.
Expect nostalgic diner vibes, but watch out for the cramped and dated interior—it’s all about enjoying the outdoor seating here!

Food is well done diner food and totally enjoyable. Plenty of gluten free options for me to choose from. However, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is extremely dated and not in a charming way. Felt cramped and a bit grimy just based on old design choices and items not being replaced. I know this restaurant is nostalgic for many too so I get it. Would probably opt to sit outside if I were to come again.
Great service and delicious food. The #4 2 tacos handmade soft corn tortillas (carne asada or pollo asado) were perfect and a great option for gluten free folks. Highly recommend!

I didn't realize this restaurant was open to the public and when I found it in the neighborhood of Hwy-74 at the end of Ironwood street, I was thrilled. It has a very pleasant tropical ambiance, much different than other golf courses I've visited. The people were all having a great time with a familiar vibe throughout. And the food was AMAZING!! The chef even prepares gluten-free options for special dietary needs! I'd highly recommend the shrimp tacos, they were fantastic! And the Happy Hour menu is great, very reasonable prices and lasts everyday from 3-6. I will definitely be back with more friends. And the nighttime entertainment is great! We found a gem in the desert....
Great food and drinks. Dog Friendly patio. Brussel sprouts delicious. Italian sausage marinara with fettuccine is tasty and flavorful. Spare ribs dinner is kinda boring. Sauce with spare ribs was average and mashed potatoes were not interesting enough to enjoy. However, the spare ribs Benedict dish for breakfast is great. Definitely will be back. Many Gluten free abd vegan options available including gluten free pasta several starters, a salad and entree.

Adorable European cafe run by a European. If you have been to Europe you will know what to expect. We recently went to Italy and it is very reminiscent of the small family cafes there. Mira serves custom coffee drinks that are always beautiful and delicious. Her food is consistent, generous portions, and so good! She even has a gluten free bread option. Her pastry display is beautiful. She typically has at least five desserts that do not contain gluten which I very much appreciate. She also takes custom orders. We did a large order of macarons for my son’s birthday party this year. I am so grateful for such a lovely cafe on El Paseo.
In answer to the reviews concerning cash. She is a small business and the fees that come with credit card purchases take a toll on small businesses when they run them several times throughout the day for small orders. She does greatly appreciate cash for orders under $20, which is why she asks. Never hurts to ask. However she will always take cards and even tap pay.
