Came in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and this place was definitely busy. The sandwiches we had were absolutely delicious, all ingredients were fresh. Better than the franchise competitors on the same street. The pumpkin bread was the best I’ve ever had, and it was gluten free. We had Arnold palmers which were perfect. I am so excited to come back and try more of the menu, including the coffee! Naiarah helped us out today and her service was exceptional! She went above and beyond during our experience. My fiancé and I spent our visit planing our many future trips to Windy Saddle this summer. A definite new Golden favorite! We won’t be coming to town again without stopping by Windy Saddle! I’m upset we’ve been missing out for too long!

I was really excited to go here for the gluten free options.i wasn't super impressed..tried the gf avocado toast. It was kinda tough, dry toast on a bed of lettuce. Super noisy if you're going for a conversation.

Disappointed in the gluten-free poke bowl options but they did a have separate paper to look at to understand the GF choices. It would be to have all GF options marked on the online menu. I had the Bahn Mi bowl, which was delicious.
With unique vibes and a cozy outdoor seating area, this spot offers outstanding breakfast tacos that keep everyone coming back for more.

Great not so hidden gem in Golden, CO. The Javelina is absolutely delicious, and you can buy fresh tortillas. For those who are gluten-free, you can partake in the deliciousness by getting the fixens in a bowl.
Expect a fresh, clean vibe with great coffee, delicious pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for a quick stop in downtown.

The coffee is great. The baked goods are also hard to pass up each time I go in. I recommend the cinnamon rolls! Also, my wife has dairy and gluten allergies and they are very accommodating with orders. Staff is genuinely friendly. Can’t recommend Red Silo enough!

My favorite place to eat in Golden! The food is great and I always make a point to take visitors here. It's a glimmer of real authentic food that Golden unfortunately seems to be lacking. All the employees are friendly and make you feel like family. My favorite part is when Walter (the owner/chef) comes over to the table and asks "have you been here before?" before launching into his explanation about his beautiful pickled red cabbage to put on top.
I haven't been back in since I was diagnosed with Celiac a few months ago but I made sure I had Xicamiti as my last glutenous burrito before going GF. Walter assured me he could prepare me gluten free food so I hope to return soon but I've been playing it safe so I can't comment on cross contamination/safety for fellow Celiacs.
Great spot for flavorful dishes with a friendly vibe; more vegetarian options would make it even better!

First time here for lunch w friends. We had burgers, portobello, humus, and salad. Good flavor and attentive service.
One friend requires GF (gluten free) options and ordered portobello not knowing it was a sandwich (did bot eat the bread), my vegetarians friend ate the salad and tasted the fries. I suggest to have more options for vegetarians and gluten free.

Mixed review from our table.
The good: The chicken pot pie was good
The bad: Chili Relleno was cold (temp) nothing special for the price
The ugly: buffalo burger was overcooked and the $4 up charge for a gluten free "bun" (2 pieces of normal GF bread) was a joke.
Service was fine but I wouldn't say that the food is worth the money.
Expect a Colorado vibe with interesting menu options and valet parking, though finding a spot can be a challenge.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge at times, but they do have valet parking also. Interesting menu options including gluten free and vegan. Friendly service and Colorado vibe. We had the trout, carne asada, and shrimp fajitas. Bill was around $90 + added a tip.
Homemade goodness shines with flavorful soups, fresh salads, and affordable prices, making it a must-visit spot for healthy eats.

I was so disappointed with the food. My soup had a single piece of chicken, just ONE. 60% of it was gristle/fat and I threw it away. It was so bad I took a photo. The sandwich had the same issue, it was the tasty croc and I removed multiple pieces of diced slimy chicken fatty material. I only ate about half the sandwich, because it grossed me out when I had to pull fatty pieces from my mouth. I didn't take a picture of it but maybe I should have. Felt physically ill when I got done eating and I attribute that to the oiliness of the chicken and rice soup, which coated my mouth.
Today was my first visit to Croc Coup, and despite the fact they have 5 gluten free soup options, along with gluten free bread.... I won't be returning. Further, my co-worker got a wrap and it was almost all lettuce and very thin on the meat. I think we will stick with Jimmy Johns or Jason's Deli in the future.
Adorable local café with a pay-it-forward concept, serving great coffee, and showcasing homegrown artisanal gifts for a community feel.

This review is intended to help people not have really stale gluten free bagels. I'm sure if you're not gluten free you will have a great experience. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. My coffee was good too.
Why 2 stars ? It was my only day in the area and I wanted to go on a hike, so I stopped at this cute place to get a good breakfast. I took my gluten-free bagel sandwich to where I was going to hike and when I tried to eat it it was almost impossible. The bread was just so stale. I know gluten-free bread sometimes tastes stale to people but I've been gluten free for over a decade and this bread was really bad.

This place is fantastic! We went on a Sunday and got amazing service even though they were incredibly busy. We got the Breakfast sandwich and were able to sub in Gluten Free bread for someone in our party that has Celiac’s. Also got the Brisket Sausage Benedict, which was really good. And the hash browns were nice and crispy, and not greasy. Got the Iced Chai too, and that was really good. The prices are probably the most surprising part, being one of the most affordable places around. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to often
With stunning views and large portions, this lively spot offers limited vegetarian choices and flexible menu options for a unique dining experience.

Fun place, beautiful views, gluten free bun options. No vegan options unless editing menu. Very few vegetarian options except soup/salad. Even a black bean patty would have been nice. Food looked good and large portions. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

this was once an old parlor.i remember much of golden as it was 40 years ago.
my kids and i were meandering down to the library today and were maybe going to backtrack to the windy saddle when we saw the denver biscuit company. i thought they might go in further down washington but they are here.
much to my utter shock these guys have a self serve coffee station. this business gets it coffee nowadays is best left taken care by the person drinking it.
we are gluten and dairy free but the denver biscuit company was worth the 2 or 3 hours after being sick. the biscuits are divine and just plain cozy! we had biscuits and gravy and it just me back to a time when my late husband and i would hop in the truck and go to town to get biscuits and gravy. thank you denver biscuit company.
Experience a top-notch burrito that lives up to the hype, with quick service and stellar taste that keeps fans coming back for more.

I just had my first burrito at Pablito’s after hearing a recommendation. The attendant was friendly and fast and accommodating for Celiac (he mentioned it when I inquired about gluten-free options—skipped the hasbrowns for the bowl because of shared frying surface). My extra-gluten burrito was one of the best damn burritos I’ve had, true to the name. I highly recommend checking it out. I will return. Good job, Pablito’s!
This place has added a 50 cent charge on all eggs on top of raising the cost of their food. The owner is rude and the graffiti walls are ridiculous. They've always just run out of the gluten free bread every time we've been.
I ordered tacos and they were so greasy that the shell fell apart upon arrival and they were also out of sour cream. There's nothing on that menu under 12 dollars. I do not recommend this place. We've tried it a few times hoping they would be better the next time and they don't get better. Across the street is the rock rest and they have amazing food and service 😋
