The staff was knowledgeable about the allergens contained in different menu items, and gave me suggestions of what to try for my wife, who is vegan and gluten free. We ended up getting a cheese pizza add bacon, and the lasagna (all gluten free and vegan), and it was AMAZING. In the four years we've been together, and the many cities we've traveled to, we haven't come across vegan Italian food as good as the food here. We can't wait to go back!

This place is such a hidden gem. Delicious food and good gluten free options. Honestly one of the best burgers in Guilford! Sitting outside in when it is nice out is peaceful and relaxing and the outdoor furniture is pleasantly comfortable!

I consider myself a regular at the Marketplace and in order for me to consider myself a regular, the food has to be amazing-- and it is. Protip: if you have Celiac Disease or a gluten allergy, the Marketplace makes their own gluten free bread-- shout out to chef Andrea! Try the Californian sandwich, it's life changing.

We recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a brunch for 50 guests at Anthony's of Guilford. We could not have been happier with our decision! Rena guided us through the planning and answered all our questions making it a very easy process. Several guests were either gluten-free or vegetarian and she gladly guided them towards foods that they could eat that day. Rena's attention to detail was much appreciated. We had many compliments on the wonderful food and the staff was very attentive. The private dining room was clean, nicely appointed and ready for our own touches of centerpieces and photo display. We look forward to having more celebrations there in the future! Thank you Anthony's!!!!

South Lane Bistro has been our favorite Shoreline restaurant since it opened! We feel like family the minute we step in the door. We are immediately greeted by their friendly staff, and two of the owners, Ariel and Walter, always make a point to come over to our table, no matter how busy they are! The coastal barn atmosphere is an integral a part of the warm, relaxed vibe this restaurant offers! South Lane is a mandatory visit when our adult children come into town because it's everybody's favorite! We love their burgers (with a Thimble Island beer!), but we're also partial to their seafood specials and Super Kale Salad. One of our children has celiac, and the staff and kitchen work together to provide many gluten free options- which we also greatly appreciate. ~Awesome owners, wonderful staff and delicious food!! It’s a local gem! Done
