It was very busy when we went in, but all the staff members were kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is excellent. My husband got coffee, which came in a carafe…very efficient and convenient, thank you. My hot tea came in a smaller carafe/pot, which was obviously only used for tea…so there wasn’t a coffee taste at all (thank you!!). It kept my tea very hot which is also so great. I noted the vegan and gluten free options, which is so wonderful to see. I do not need GF food, but people I care about do…so it is lovely to see it offered. I also enjoy vegan food, though I did not get that this morning (I’m vegetarian, so again, it’s great to see vegetarian/vegan options). Their attention to detail is what made it so great. And the decor in their restrooms/water closets were entertaining lol.

Really great find in the heart of Bar Harbor. Super considerate about our gluten allergy and vegan preferences. The smoothies here are to die for. Try the PB J smoothie. Loved all the food and the ambience was terrific. Not crowded even during the holiday long weekend.

THIS PLACE IS A GEM! We stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast while touring around bar harbor and had one of the best quick breakfast of our whole trip! Great iced and hot coffee options from a super friendly barista. And the breakfast sandwiches were quick and so tasty. They have gluten free English muffins for their sandwiches that were delicious and great GF option! *the crepes are not gluten free unfortunately*

Heed the sign (on the side of the building) of the "Hand Pointing A Finger Down The "Alley"" and it has "Cafe This Way" on the Hand. A lovely place to eat! The build your own breakfast sandwiches are delicious! They have a gluten free and sourdough option as well as several other bread choices. We came here twice during our week in Acadia. The maple oat latte and sugar free vanilla latte were both great. The black coffee and espresso were also so good. Cute little spot. Line moves fast!
