I eat here on the regular. New ownership has been great. Food can be indulgent or granola healthy - up to you. Coffee that'll make life worth living. Service and kitchen folks are as fine an example of Helenans as you'll find anywhere.

I’m gluten free, so I ordered the four berry with whipped cream on a buckwheat crepe (you can order any of their crepes with buckwheat to make them GF). Everything about it was fantastic! The atmosphere and staff are welcoming and warm, and the food is so good. My partner ordered the tiramisu crepe and loved it!
This spot surprises with a delicious take on pizza, plus don’t miss out on their refreshing Huckleberry Freeze for a twist!

Called ahead and lo and behold they actually had gluten free pizza!! And...
It was very good! And be sure to get the Huckleberry Freeze. The crust is like a thin regular crust, not like a cracker! I would highly recommend!

Had the atchafalaya stir fry today and it was the best thing I've eaten in a long time! Love this place, I go here for good food, the best gluten free gumbo, all served by people who love their jobs!
The owner was so nice and welcoming. We walked in right at closing and we were still accommodated. I am gluten and dairy free and I was able to eat here- no issues! So nice to be able to eat with my family! I have a GF app and this place didn’t come up on it, but should! When we are back in this area this will be our MUST stop!

This place is an excellent place for lunch, best sandwiches in town, but I stopped by for their bi weekly dinner service. The English pea roasted chicken parm risotto was to die for, so flavorful. The arugula feta pesto pasta was so amazing! The feta really pulled the dish together. The real show stopper was the pork ribs. Holy moly they fell right off the bone. The creamy polenta really lived up to its name, it was creamy and rich. Every bite was savory. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more! That said, you should also stop by for lunch because every single sandwich there is SO FANTASTIC! The fresh baked sourdough foccia is so fluffy and amazing! They have vegetarian and vegan options too! Also for anyone with gluten allergies they can make anything in to a salad and will meet your needs! Great service, great staff, and great food for lunch or dinner.

Also of note for some--could not find anywhere that they advertised gluten free bread but they do have it. My wife has celiacs, and was very impressed by the gluten free bread.
