Great spot centrally located in the heart of the Asbury Ave shopping district. Menu has lots of variety. Many gluten free and healthy options. Love the flourless crustless quiche! Fast service. Hot food. Seating is often tight inside due to the small space. Bar seating is often available and you can usually find a single seat if needed. We have been here over a dozen times and food and service are consistently good! Worth the wait if there is one. Several great shops nearby to shop while waiting. Will be back!

I just ordered a gluten free pork, sharp provolone, and broccoli rabe sandwich and was left underwhelmed for the steep price of $18. It was lacking flavor and the bread completely fell apart after one bite. Please look into sourcing better gluten free bread in the future.

Would have liked to endulge in there pancakes but although they offer gluten free pancakes they don't have a vegan option. Everyone else in our party loved the food and from what I saw the pancakes did look fresh and very tasty. Everyone was happy with the food here. Cute spot to visit in ocean city .

On the Way Cafe is a true local gem! Their sausage gravy and sloppy joe are absolute must-tries – they’re staples around here, and you can taste the love in every bite. Arleen, the owner, is the sweetest; she used to have her own spot (now Asbury Kitchen), and you can tell she’s passionate about what she does. She’s there every day, making sure everything is just right, and she offers so many vegetarian and gluten-free options too. Supporting local feels extra special when the food is this amazing! Highly recommend stopping by for a cozy, delicious meal.

It was ok - good enough food on the boardwalk. However it is NOT gluten free. They advertise GF on the menu and online, but they cook all the food on the same grill. Avoid if you can’t tolerate cross contamination.

Have gone for many years but now find that they are one of the few places that offer a gluten free bread with breakfast. An upcharge but it was very good and much better than the store breads.

We’ve been coming to OC for many years. This is our family favorite for breakfast (and sometimes for lunch). We have all tried many dishes. My go-to is avocado toast on gluten free bread. They are with the avocado, which is always fresh, and the eggs on top are just the way I order it. The GF free bread is always fresh and they don’t seem to run out of it, which can be a problem at some places. Service is great and so is food. We miss Sunrise Cafe when we are not in OC.

This place is the best of both worlds with everything you could ask for in breakfast foods, a great combination of options for lunch, and nightly family dinners for any amount. They also have a huge variety of catering options for any event that you are having. They offer a great amount of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and keto options as well. All of the employees are very pleasant and super helpful with any questions you might have. I would definitely recommend stopping in and supporting this awesome business!!

They accommodate our large group (15-20+) year after year in early July and we’re so grateful. The food is always great and there’s something for everyone. That said, it would be great if they labeled their menu for gluten free/vegan/vegetarian options.

I love the gluten free pancakes here, it was amazing! I got the blueberry and apple pancakes and they tasted like normal pancakes. This was our go to place when we were in ocean city. You have to check this place out. Atmosphere is great because there's lots of space and the staff is very friendly! A must try!

Pretty great! Food was delicious. We had two breakfast sandwiches. My partner got a garlic bagel and, though they don't offer gluten free bread options, they were very accommodating for me and gave me my "bagel" sandwich on a bed of lettuce.The nitro coffee was strong and the chai was great (love a good chai that doesn't taste watered down).

This place has a variety of delicious and creative food offerings. Although the name implies it's mostly chicken, it has a number of vegetarian and beef items on the menu too. I had a tofu rice bowl which was much more healthy and satisfying that was typical boardwalk food. They also have japchae noodles, 5 different types of dumplings; shave ice, boba tea, and lots of other things. Service is relatively fast, even when they're busy. Try it! Note: good for gluten free and vegetarian options.
