OMG, the BEST gluten free biscuits I have EVER had!! ALL the food was out of this world and Tim the GM, was amazing, checked on us and got to know us!! We had the best service! Live over an hour away, WILL be making the drive to come back regularly š„°ā¤ļø. THANKS š

If you are in the area or passing through, you should definitely stop at this diner! The line was out the door when we arrived, but we were seated quickly-- very diner-esque! The whole place oozes with atmosphere, from the old-school photos and jukebox to the handwritten silly signs from the restaurant!
The food was delicious, and there was lots of it on the plate! While the menu doesn't designate gluten free options, I was able to order the Big Daddy meal and substitute the bread for grits. I do not have celiacs, but a strong sensitivity; and I had no issues after the meal. But please use your own judgement.
Overall, this was such a sweet find, and I encourage you to visit!

The Canteen is a great restaurant in the Lobby of the Rhodes Motel. The seating options are diverse. They have a bar with seating, long tables for groups, single tables for couples, outdoor seating with heaters, and an upstairs reclined seating table with a view out over the outdoor patio.
I had the Wagyu burger which was cooked just as I ordered. They have an option for a gluten free everything bun for the burger that is not on the menu.
The sweet potato fries were delicious.
The Canteen would be a great place to come for a casual night with friends or for a quick stop for a bite to eat.
With scratch-made goodness and killer sourdough, this spot serves up elevated breakfast and lunch that will blow your mind!

GO HERE! Huge fan of the Toastery! Breakfast and lunch items are all delicious, and it is obvious they are scratch made. The sourdough bread is phenomenal, and it makes the club sandwich, which has thick ham and turkey (not your traditional think deli cuts). Gluten free options available, which is huge for someone in our family who must eat GF. Thanks,y'all!

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Boone and we are so happy we did. The menu is awesome, so many different options and so much variety. There is something for everyone! They have vegan and gluten free options! We tried the crepes, bubble waffle, best waffle and lava cake. Everything was delicious! This will become a regular spot whenever we come to vacation in Boone!

This place is dangerously close to my home and I pop in for a cookie and a beverage pretty often! Everyone here is so nice, and itās a great place to shop for local gifts to give to out of towners. My only point of sadness is that there arenāt more gluten-free options, and I realize that itās a bakery so you still get five stars lol
