I LOVE First Watch in general, and the Clemmons location in particular. This is my favorite date place with my husband, annd my youngest loves it too! I also come here with my friends for brunch - maybe too often.
Also, HUGE, as a newly-diagnosed celiac, I love how helpful and conscientious they are with the gluten allergy. This is one of the only places I currently trust to eat, which is big to me! Thank you!

I have celiac disease & my office was kind enough to order some gf cupcakes for me along with some regular cupcakes to celebrate my birthday. The gf cupcakes were boxed with the regular cupcakes so now I can’t even enjoy them. They claim to use separate ovens/tins for baking, so why ruin all that effort with cross contamination in the box? So disappointing. It’s hard enough living with this disease to have people be so careless.
Edit: the response is just insensitive. I didn’t pay for the cupcakes & after speaking to the person who answered the phone that told me conflicting information & the attitude of the manager, I didn’t feel comfortable accepting any replacement. Pardon me if your carelessness in boxing didn’t make me confident you were careful during manufacturing. i didn’t want to risk getting violently ill & damaging my intestines. I contacted you as soon as I received my cupcakes so what the time of day has to do with it, I’m not sure. Just such an awful attitude with a passive aggressive happy birthday wish is uncalled for.
