Super cute atmosphere, a few allergies in the party and chef alberto came out to the table to help and made the BEST food-steak was so good and the redfish tacos were out of this world!!!!!!!!! I'm celiac and it was totally safe for gluten free :) also the cheddar grits were fab

Gaidos is a standard in Galveston and it's clear why! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They assisted with any questions I had regarding gluten free items on the menu and were able to make great recommendations. Our appetizer and dessert were amazing, I'm still dreaming about the soup of the day made by the chef! I was a bit disappointed for my entree as the sides and the meat used the same seasoning so the dish lacked depth, but everything else was amazing. The gift shop inside is also very cute.

The food is amazing! Lots of gluten free options. I got the chicken pablano and it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Mihaela was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

$7 will get you a huge breakfast burrito with your choice of filling, on homemade tortillas. This the only place I've ever eaten that will make a burrito on corn tortillas. Very helpful if you're #glutensensitive. The service was friendly and helpful. I love supporting small businesses and it's even better when the food is great!

I have celiac disease and am always concerned with cross contamination and being exposed to gluten. I informed our waiter of this. The chef actually came out and accommodated my dietary needs and restrictions. The whole restaurant staff was friendly and understood my concerns. Best sashimi I’ve ever had in my life! This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant. The wait time is about 5 minutes. The tables are nicely set. They have high chairs and can also accommodate wheelchairs. The waiters are knowledgeable and can answer questions about the food like gluten free etc. It is an inexpensive restaurant. Street parking is free.

Fantastic Mexican food in an establishment that has been a long-time favorite of Galveston natives. HUGE portions of delicious Mexican classics. We had two gluten-free diners who had no trouble with the chicken enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce and rice and beans. Cheese enchiladas were delicious too. Queso and corn tortillas are gluten free. For GF, avoid the chips that are fried in oil and the chili gravy. otherwise you are good to go! Our daddy has the special dinner and ate every bit!! One of everything for those who cannot decide on one thing. Camarones are good, although the tomato sauce they are in has a bit too much sugar. Great place to go. Dine early because there is always a line.
