Our server Eric was very attentive to the needs of our table. Especially because we asked for gluten free dishes. He always checked with the chef whenever we had questions. Fortunately, they were very familiar with Celiac Disease and I had no worries about being able to eat at the restaurant.
I enjoyed a medium rare steak on top of French fries and an over easy egg.
The steak was tender and juicy which contrasted against the crunchy eggs and frencj fries. Everything was delicious and I would definitely come here again!
P.s.Photo is a split portion because it was a shared plate

Breakfast menu has lots of options. Plenty of kid options, too. There were a couple gluten free options. Every time I've gone there are lots of families with kids, so it's definitely a kid friendly place. The staff are young, but patient and respectful.
Expect a cozy vibe with fresh, home-made dishes that keep everyone coming back for more, making it perfect for any meal or event.

This is one of the best restaurants in Falls Church and one that I frequent a lot with family and friends alike. I have never had a bad meal at Fava Pot and have been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - their breakfast is particularly good! Their food is consistently fresh and tastes truly home-made (in the best way). I think I could eat their fava beans or falafel every day of my life and never get tired. The staff is always so friendly! I recently had a catered family-style event from Fava Pot and everyone loved it! Dina (the owner) called me and walked through how much food she thought we needed. We needed gluten-free food due to guests with Celiac and I was blown away with how much care and attention was given towards making sure the food was labeled and Celiac-safe. The catering process was easy and the food was presented beautifully. I would definitely recommend Fava Pot if you are considering them for catering your next event, or just want an amazing meal!
Quaint and vibrant spot with cozy indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for unwinding or catching up with friends amidst a welcoming vibe.

Excellent gluten free scone full of flavor; the service was very kind and quick and the atmosphere is very welcoming and engaging. A bit of a tight fit physically is some corners is the only potential issue. I’d definitely go again to work, read or just chat.

Great food! Even with technical difficulties leading to no corn tortillas or eggs, everything else is still fantastic! I had the taco bowl with chicken, bacon, rice, beans and sour cream. Yum!! In fact, only thing that has gluten are the flour tortillas.
A charming hole in the wall with a wide array of toppings and unique options, perfect for a tasty post-hike stop.

After hiking at Great Falls we were craving sandwiches and this was the perfect deli. They have so many delicious sandwiches and you can make your own w toppings galore. They have amazing roast beef, corned beef, sauerkraut, and a sandwich with latkes on it, which you can also get as a side. The fries were perfectly crunchy, thin cut but not shoestring- ideal in my opinion. We got gluten-free bread and it was delicious but i’m sure the glutenful bread is also great.
The service was great as well! We’re adding this to our list of delicious stops when we are driving through DC again!
Charming spot with a cozy vibe and unique menu items, perfect for breakfast or brunch cravings, plus free parking available nearby.

Besides oatmeal, and an overpriced avocado toast you can order with no egg/no protein, there’s nothing for vegans/plant-based eaters here. To the owners: I wish you put in a little effort to be more inclusive, especially in a place situated in the greater DC metro area. You can offer the option of serving the avocado toast with black beans on top. It’s so cheap and low-effort to use a batch of canned black beans with lemon, olive oil, and light seasoning and adding it on toast. You can easily offer egg and dairy-free pancakes (there are so many recipes online now, some even made with oat flour, which would also make it gluten-free as well). A vegan BLT made with tempeh-bacon or tofu-bacon is probably too much to ask for, but would also be great, some day in the future when more cafe-owners catch up with the endless amounts of easy and low-cost (and protein-filled) plant-based recipes there are out there. I hope you will think of your potential plant-based clients and provide options for them in the future.
Step into a cozy, inviting space with a magical atmosphere, where quality ingredients shine and live music adds a special touch on weekends!

I really love how they renovated this place and the seating areas both inside, out front and in the back. For those of us who are gluten-sensitive, I wish they would add some gluten-free pastries, since their normal pastries look so good and I can’t eat those. I do like that they offer buckwheat bread for their sandwiches and some other savory gluten-sensitive options. The drinks are also a bit too expensive for me; I got a latte today and it was over nine dollars. I also wish they didn’t start charging for Wi-Fi after a period.
I have coeliac disease so everything has to be gluten free. They changed their gloves. Wiped down counters and all. I was so happy and I didn’t get sick not one bit!!!! Yummy and fresh food and it’s just ALWAYS GOOD
I love this place for so many reasons. The foremost is, obviously, the high quality food they serve. Locally sourced ingredients, organic selections, options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and kosher diets, and it's still a freaking diner. It's a testament to just how amazing a restaurant can be if it tries. It's obvious that they try.
A local gem with on-site roasted coffee, cozy vibes, plenty of plants, and unique offerings—perfect for chilling, but it gets busy!

So, I do like this place. It's a local shop and they roast the coffee on site. That's awesome. It stays pretty busy even though there is a Starbucks down the street. You can also order ahead which is convenient, but you still have to park behind the building and go in which takes a little (seriously, a little) more effort than parking at Starbucks. Not their fault.
If you want to go there to work, better get there early. People go there and camp out. They're ordering coffee and being good patrons, but that means there isn't a high turnover rate of tables. I really love all the plants and the big, sunny windows. It feels very warm and it's my favorite place to kill time.
I usually get the matcha latte which is average at best. For some reason they don't have coconut milk and the almond milk feels too thick.
The food there is good and original. I like that it varies and that it's not mass produced (like Starbucks). However, this also means that if you like something, it may not be there next time.
I've only had one thing there that was difficult to finish. I can't even remember what it was other than that it was a ball. If you see it (and it's gluten free) pick anything else. Seriously. Go for the gluten and get their bacon biscuit. It's DELISH!
My only other complaint is that it closes pretty early. I wasn't expecting that. This is not a spot for afternoon coffee or a date-meet-up. All in all, a good spot if you're in Falls Church and definitely worth checking out instead of Starbucks.
Charming and beautifully decorated, this spot offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying a delightful meal with friends.

What a lovely spot with delicious food and desserts! This cafe (restaurant) is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and the staff is very welcoming. We shared a winter meal here with friends and ordered the branzino, houloumi with honey and pistachios, and pistachio baklava and baked rice pudding for dessert -- all except the baklava were gluten free and all were delicious! We will be back next time in town. Thank you for the lovely meal in a lovely environment! 🙏
