If you're gluten free due to celiac or an allergy, don't eat here. Yes they have a GF bun and advertise GF options, but I've gotten sick 3 times here so I won't be going back again. I asked about GF options and was told pretty much all the burgers can be made GF and the fries are not GF. I ordered the black bean burger and felt terrible after, only to find out next time the black bean patty has gluten in it. I also didn't feel well after the firebird chicken burger, so I think either the sauce has gluten in it or cross contamination is too high. Two stars because the food is tasty.

PNW hidden gem. We got burgers, fish and chips and clam chowder (which was gluten free!) And they had gluten free buns too 🙏 we also came in 30 mins before closing and were worried they would think we were rude but the server was super friendly and helpful. Thank you old mill cafe, the best clam chower I've ever had and we are lifelong port townsend locals.

Love the comfortable vibes of the restaurant, friendly staff, and amazing food that you can tell the menu is well thought out and everything made with extra love!!! The jalapeño aoili is a must and so is the waffle. The waffle is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Tons of gluten free options too!! The owner knocked out of of the park here!!

We went for a very late lunch to meet a friend. The restaurant was comfortable, the chili and chef salads were good and our server was very polite and friendly. The food came out very quickly. The only down side for me is that I try not to eat gluten or deep fried food (they make my arthritis much worse) and I eat salad almost every day at home, so I try to get something other than a salad when I go out. The menu was mainly deep fried food and sandwiches, so my options were very limited. But my chili was good and my mom and her friend enjoyed their salads, so it worked out ok.
