I love that there is an all vegan restaurant in Stevens Point. Their menu indicates gluten free, nut free, and soy free also. Very well decorated. There is a rack of games to play. My son and I had so much fun and enjoyed our food. A sign on the door said the restaurant is for sale.
A cozy spot with a warm vibe, known for delicious scratch-made dishes and a unique open layout that can get a bit noisy.

The food was amazing!!!! Loved the Avacado toast! The staff was so kind, friendly, & very helpful! We sat by the fireplace! Always love a restaurant that is warm and inviting! Some places are so cold u have to wear your coat while u eat! Love that they offer gluten free! Forgot to ask if they had plant based butter.đ We loved it at The Wooden Chair! â€ïž

Upon arrival: We noticed several handicapped parking places but there were steps up to the front door ...I'm not sure if there was a ramp in back.
At the door: there seem to be a line It was busy and bustling lots of seats were taken but It was not difficult to find a place to sit. There is a shelf along the ordering line with menus for food and drinks, I noticed a fireplace and it had begun to snow so I asked the server if they were planning to turn it on and she immediately did to our delight!
Ordering: after getting situated by the fire, we made our selections from the menu and approached the counter to place our order. The counter staff was delightful and helpful and took our order in a very friendly way apologizing for the items that were out of stock and helping us make alternate selections.
Enjoying our meal: my mushroom crepe wasn't exactly what I expected but was good nevertheless, and my husband ordered the harvest bowl which was delicious! I imagine it could be very different every time you ordered if you chose a different meat each time. I would like to go back and try different crepes on the menu as well. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the gluten-free barley crepe and mostly just liked the filling! I highly recommend the fig latte which was the flavor I chose because I was disappointed they were out of the Cherub crepe that has figs.
Before leaving: We asked what to do with our dishes and there are busing trays hidden at the corner of the bar where we were able to leave our dishes because we wanted someone else to be able to enjoy the corner table by the fireplace.
If we lived nearby we would definitely visit again for the unique menu! We might even make the 30 minute trip for someplace special when we are in the mood for a real treat.
Charming and cozy, this cafe offers a refreshing vibe that makes every visit feel special, perfect for a relaxing break anytime.

While visiting Stevens Point last month I had the pleasure of stopping in at Rose House Cafe. I had a delicious and refreshing hibiscus tea, while my daughter had an iced espresso made by a fellow Ohioan(?). I only wish we had not eaten right before, as they had gluten free options which looked appetizing; next time!
Artistic dishes and a calming vibe create a memorable experience, with speedy service and generous portions that keep everyone happy.

Had the smoked salmon avocado toast w an egg on top. Good sized portion and tasty. My wife picked this spot because they also have gluten free options.
The Caesar salad was the worst, with soggy, rotting lettuce, and no other side options offered that were gluten-free. Plus, they charged $2,00 for lemon in my water. Waitress did great.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with refreshing flavors and unique drink options that make every visit feel special.

Was able to enjoy my first lunch at Zest recently. The service and environment were great. The food was amazing. Such a unique blend of flavors that were very refreshing. And they have gluten free options which is an added, but necessary bonus for me. Will definitely be back!
Food is delicious and wine was wonderful! If you are looking for gluten free or vegan, this is not the place for you. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Menu of small plates changes so check their Facebook page for daily menu.
