A cozy and bright place, as pleasant for working as for spending a friendly time with friends. A wide range of homemade pastries is offered there, a big favorite for the cinnamon rolls. There is also a vegan and gluten-free offer, a real plus. The drinks are delicious and the staff are very welcoming. A must-see address in Rennes for coffee shop/tea room lovers!

Excellent time spent with friends around eggs Benedict (with or without smoked trout) and cakes from this little British tea room, of which we finished all our plates. I grabbed some scones and a cookie to go to extend the experience. The service is fast, warm and attentive, the cuisine comforting and inventive (decadent gluten-free cake as is rarely allowed in restaurants). The skiing address in my favorites, I can't wait to return to Rennes!

Nice atmosphere and decor, varied menu and great products. The buckwheat pancakes are cooked on plates separate from those where the wheat pancakes are cooked and are therefore gluten-free, with a minimum risk of traces. Sweet pancakes can also be prepared on a base of buckwheat pancakes. For someone intolerant to gluten, having so many choices, with confidence, is great!

Great restaurant! The cuisine changes every day and the dishes (vegetarian or vegan) are excellent, as are the desserts (where gluten-free options are offered). I find that it is still (too) rare to find good vegetarian restaurants and this is one of them. So go for it! :)

Nice brunch on Sunday, everything is homemade and the team adapts to the diet (vegetarian and gluten-free), it's really appreciated. We discover new flavors and the interior atmosphere of the shop is very cute. Small negative point in my opinion: the plates are plastic. But we will come back and we hope by then on an outdoor terrace 😉.

The café even has gluten-free friendly options on the menu, which was a pleasant surprise. The place is super cozy, and the coffee is superb! I ordered a latte, and it was absolutely amazing. A must-have! The Sunday brunch is hearty and absolutely to die for. The scones are the best I have ever eaten. The manager is absolutely adorable and bends over backwards to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Gluten free? Lactose free? Ask! What a wonderful café with a lot of charm! From outside you can see directly onto the wonderful cake counter (all homemade). The atmosphere is very inviting and the service was great. Even the toilet has style! The cakes are very expensive, but there are large pieces and they taste great (the one with pistachios was even gluten-free). Even the floral decorations were real. Therefore only recommended!

Delicious meal! Difficult to make a choice from the menu options, everything seems very appetizing. I have to avoid gluten in my meals and I was able to choose from the menu without depriving myself (note, I am not celiac, it might not be suitable for people with allergies). Canal 99 is in a great location, the staff is very welcoming and pleasant. Brunch is €30 per person, but it's well worth it. It is hearty and super good. Small points for improvement: the cherry tomato and mozarella salad is too bland for my taste and some dishes lacked freshness and that's a bit of a shame, but that didn't take away from the flavor. And the hot drinks are lukewarm and not hot (chocolate), the tea was fine. And for the breakfast part at the beginning, put the number of butter and jam per person. Positive point: many lactose- and gluten-free dishes If you come there... don't forget to go to the toilets, they are just original and incredible!!
