We came for a team dinner. There were 7 of us. We highly rated the organic chicken and short rib. They were just delicious.
One of our team members is a celiac and had a reaction from the chicken dish. Although she had specified that she was a celiac at the time of ordering, and asked the server delivering her meal to make sure, she was still "glutened". Unsure what went wrong there, but Giraffe may need to assess their processes when handling gluten.
This spot stands out for its thoughtful menu adaptations and child-friendly atmosphere, making it a hit for families.

Amazing food with excellent service! A group of us ; 10 ppl having our lunch date here with children. It’s a children friendly restaurant with children menu available.
What really blew my mind is how friendly and professional of their staff. We have two guests have special food inquiries; one is vegetarian but need to be onions, spring onions, garlic, and leek free. The other guest need to be gluten free, dairy free, no onions, no spring onion, no garlic and no leek.
I did rang the restaurant prior when I’m making a booking and tell them our guests need. When we arrived the restaurant, I think might be the manager; bring two copy of the menu and already all highlighted with what dishes can be made to customize their foods needs.
It’s the very first restaurant to do that for us and we are truly appreciate.
If I had to describe them in one word, it's FANTASTIC! This is a restaurant Auckland has been missing all this while. If you are an expat like me or a well-travelled person, this will be your new favourite restaurant.
I go to a restaurant mainly for it's food and hospitality and Esther excels in both aspects. Excellent service and great food especially the octopus, lamb and saganaki. The pasta was quite watery when I expected it to be creamy. Crispy duck fat potatoes were a delight. Generous portions. And the best part, most of the dishes were/ could be made gluten free.
Had a great dining experience at Esther and can't wait to be back.
Chill spot with a great vibe, serving up delicious brunch and standout fries that keep everyone coming back for more.

Good food, fair prices. Had gluten-free options for celiac (potato cake). The beef noodle soup was average tasting but a good portion of beef. Big breakfast was good. Fries were amazing: huge bowl of crispy fries with aioli and ketchup for only $7.
Enjoy stunning views while dining, especially outside with heat lamps for cozy evenings; a memorable spot for meals any time of day!

Excellent cuisine with superior service! We joined for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals immensely. Sit outside if you are able; the view is spectacular at all times of day and there are heat lamps to keep warm at night.
The restaurant was able to handily accommodate celiac / gluten free, as well as a severe peanut & tree nut allergy. I was extremely impressed at the care and knowledge they showed with the allergies.
So looking forward to coming back and highly recommend to all those who are staying at the beautiful Park Hyatt or in the area and looking for a delicious meal and experience!
