A safe haven for celiacs—with just a small note.
This dedicated gluten-free restaurant near the thermal resort is a rare and much-needed spot for anyone with celiac disease. The peace of mind that comes from knowing every dish is truly gluten-free is priceless.
The food is flavorful and the dessert options are surprisingly good. My only small critique is that some dishes were a bit too salty or had a bit too much garlic for my personal taste—but that could very well be a matter of individual preference.
Overall, highly recommended!
Charming spot in Ljubljana with a vibrant atmosphere, spacious seating, and a nice location near the river, perfect for an enjoyable dining experience.

On holiday abroad, eating gluten-free is always difficult, especially due to the risk of contamination... I recommend this pizzeria positively for the availability of gluten-free dishes (pizzas, first courses and a dessert). The pizza I chose, bufalina, had excellent ingredients, quality raw materials, which compensated for the toasted gluten-free pizza base that we celiacs know well. My travel companions also enjoyed the pizza, and found it extremely digestible. The waitress who served us was also very kind and professional. Good quality/price. Advise!!!
A must-visit for vegan enthusiasts, featuring incredible ice cream and pizza, all served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

I bought gluten-free bread there. Freshly baked 'in house' by mom. Really great.
Was also dinner. Vegan pasta with (bio/organic) vegetables and herbs, some of which are grown in-house. Top quality and freshly prepared! A short waiting time is absolutely acceptable. Organic regional wines and advice are also available. Where else can you find something like that?? Right here!
100% recommendation even as a non-vegetarian 👍🙏

Good gluten free pasta and beer. Manager/waiter was rude to two older English ladies. As they tried to tell him something about their beverages, he said, “what’s wrong now”. Mean. Then I saw the same guy pick up several French fries with his fingers off a plate that was being delivered to a customer. I couldn’t believe it. Find another spot.
Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with a French vibe, friendly dogs, and a diverse menu that's perfect for breakfast or lunch.

This is not a good place for gluten free diets as some have pretended. The menu specifies the allergens, but that’s all. Having some gluten free bread slices to go with your omelet isn’t a big effort. The bread isn’t even home made, they didn’t even manage to toast it at least. So once and for all, let me confirm that there are no specifically adapted recipes and products for gluten free people.
Get ready for a cozy vibe with unique burgers, refreshing local drinks, and a great atmosphere that everyone loves, especially in summer!

Very delicious food, very nice service!
You can order the hamburger with a gluten-free bun, it was indicated that cross-contamination may occur.
There was also GM beer.

Parma is one of the cutest pizzerias in Ljubljana. It has tradition and character. The pizzas are smaller and thicker than usual and have a lot of toppings. The names of the pizzas are unique and can come with gluten free dough.
A must-visit for vegan food lovers, boasting unique dishes, a cozy atmosphere, and a popular reputation that fills up quickly.

WOW!!! I have been to many vegan restaurants all over the world and our experience at Gaudi&Naan is one of the best! ⭐️
The food was excellent! I had never tried the Juicy Marble steak and I am a vegan who never missed meat and I actually normally steer far away from meat imitations. But this one I really wanted to try.
At Gaudi&Naan they had prepared it perfectly! 👌 It comes with a pepper sause and wonderful sides. The meat of the vegan steak is salty and falls apart and has a very nice texture.
We also enjoyed the curry!
I have to mention that lovely Maria squeezed us in after I was visibly sad when they were out of capacity because a colleague had fallen ill. Maria was absolutely full of love and let us dine although she had a full restaurant to take care of all alone - I am so grateful. Thank you!
Ah, PS. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free and it was safe for me as a someone with celiac disease.
PS 2. Maria paired the stake perfectly with a nice glass of red wine.

Show! We stopped on the way back from our holiday in Slovenia, recommended by a local girl. By far the best restaurant we came across in 10 days. Inclusive cuisine, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Rustic and well-kept environment, with large external veranda.
A must-visit gem with incredible flavors and a diverse menu that leaves travelers raving about the experience!

Amazing, best food we’ve had travelling around Europe this month. The stuffed vine leaves, falafel, and vegetable tajine were all incredible. The olives were very tasty. Would highly highly recommend. Very good for gluten free choices too as we have a coeliac/celiac in our group.
Enjoy a stunning sea view while savoring incredible starters and a variety of tasty dishes at this affordable gem with multilingual service.

Nice restaurant with a great view onto the sea. Friendly and attentive staff, which was also very knowledgeable about the dishes. This made it easy to find gluten free options. Can recommend if you are looking for a tasty meal and good wine. Especithe starters were amazing.
We had a lovely experience tonight at your place.
Salads were tasty, steaks were juicy and you catered for our coeliac family member with such care that we don't often experience it; thank you for that.
We will definitely be back💪🙏😊
Massive pizzas and hearty dishes create a satisfying experience, with attentive service and a variety of tasty options.

Typical food from the area and huge pizzas. Both fish and meat are very delicious. There is no option for gluten-free pizzas or bread but the two celiacs in the group left full. There are quite a few gluten-free options including desserts and the waiter also informed us very well about what we could order. All perfect.
Enjoy a relaxed vibe with tasty, fresh meals and big portions, perfect for a leisurely visit, even if service may vary.

Unfortunately, they don't know what gluten is. The menu is not quite consistent with the prepared food. There was no price list for the market on the menu. Water is only bottled. It still tastes good cooked. The gnocchi are not stuffed.
Enjoy a cozy, relaxed vibe with a unique fixed-price menu and a great selection of wines to complement your evening.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to - I am sad I’m only visiting Slovenia because I wish I could come back! The food was impeccable, great price, and phenomenal awareness of allergies. They were able to make everything on the menu gluten free.
Enjoy a cozy spot with a unique mix of tapas and hearty soups, but be ready for small portions and some outdoor distractions.

We had a lovely meal here with soups for both (one crab and one beef with pancakes) and one had 2x tapas the other mussels, 1 beer 1 wine 1 water and 1 absolutely incredible vegan gluten free pistachio desert. Came to €67. Food allergies handled very well, gluten free substitutes and few dairy ingredients used so easily avoided. Downside is portion sizes of tapas, it’s more single canapé, soups taste a little ’hotel kitcheny’ and beggars coming to the tables outside. Inside has aircon I would definitely choose inside next time. Can’t fault the service though, super kind and professional.

Best fish food in town.
It is our go to restaurant for fish and other seafood. Everything is delicious. They try to cater for people with special dietary needs(gluten....)
They have some parking spaces behind the ramp.... you "ring" them whey you are at the ramp. And later they give you a ticket to exit the parking
The only downside is that because of the great food they tend to have a lot of guests. And if you do not have a reservation, you might have to wait.....
Enjoy a cozy outdoor vibe with tasty options, quick service, and a casual atmosphere perfect for a laid-back meal.

They provide gluten-free pizza, but it's not stated on the menu, so you need to ask the waiter which ones are available. Also, the extra price isn't stated, so you might have to ask that as well.
We ordered a Combo Menu 3 (Cheeseburger, pommes, 0.5L drink) and a gluten-free Classic pizza. Both were tasty, had a fair price and reasonable portions. There is a small table inside, but actually the restaurant is mainly seated outside, right around the corner, so there is plenty of tables to sit. The service was quite fast even though there was only one waiter.
We had 3 slices of pizza left, which we asked to be packed. It got packed with wrapping paper and a plastic bag (edited) for free.
Edit: The item title on the bill was misleading for us, as it said "Pijaca Take-away", and we thought we got charged €2.80 for the packaging, but turns "Pijaca" means "drink" in Slovenian, which referred to a bottle of Fuzetea we had.
Enjoy a creatively crafted menu with quick service in a clean space featuring a welcoming vibe and a unique twist on dining.

Well prepared and varied menu. We liked that most of the food is gluten-free and that there are not many classic fried dishes that every restaurant offers you. You can see from the plate that they make an effort in the kitchen for the guest, and the same applies to the friendly service staff. Parking was not difficult to find. The restaurant is clean to a high standard, and everything else is also impeccably arranged
Wide selection and friendly staff. Allergens nicely marked. Even some gluten-free options. / Great food selection and friendly staff. Allergen clearly labeled. Even some gluten-free options.

Hole in the wall kind of shop with a super limited menu and basically only outdoor seating - they serve the local sausage + 2 local stews. I had the jota, a stew with sausage and beans, which is naturally gluten free, while my boyfriend had the titular klobasarna sausage in a bun. Cheap beer and wine available too.
A cozy gem with a stunning patio view, offering flavorful Mediterranean dishes in a warm atmosphere—perfect for a delightful evening out.

I highly recommend this restaurant, booking advised.
It is a small and cozy place to have a fabulous meal in a welcoming and elegant atmosphere.
The menu offers a range of dishes covering the Mediterranean cuisine, suitable for vegetarians as well. Upon calling ahead one can also have gluten free alternatives to bread.
Giving notice to the kitchen on my dietary requirements my dishes were prepared gluten and lactose free using fresh utensils and the chef tried to keep cross contamination to a minimum. However, they do not have a designated area to prepare dishes separately. I have not had any issues after my meal.
The dishes are made to order, ingredients are fresh and tasteful, the spices are well balanced and rich. Waiting time is acceptable and the dishes are appealingly arranged.
The waiters are welcoming, alert, and swift yet not stressed or rushing. They also know the menu very well and their recommendations are to the point, they answer all questions patiently. It has been my second visit and I’ve enjoyed a lovely evening with a fantastic view from the patio. My first visit was in the winter season 2021 and the menu was slightly different due to seasonal availability of ingredients. I recommend to have a try at both if possible.
Enjoy stunning lake views from the terrace while savoring generous portions at this affordable spot, plus they offer bath passes for a relaxing dip.

Lake Bled in Slovenia, terrace overlooking the lake, there are various places, we stopped in this one. Allergens indicated on the menu, decidedly generous portion (we asked for the doggy bag), right wait. In terms of price, I would say one of the most convenient restaurants and it seemed to us to have more gluten-free options after a quick look at the menus. In the photo red wine risotto with dried tomatoes, black olives and Slovenian pork belly (not exactly light, but very good)
Ps. Upon request there is the possibility of having a bath pass (otherwise it costs €1 to enter the baths in Bled)
Expect a lively vibe with a daily changing menu, comfy seating, and a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for evening reservations.

We ate here twice during our stay in this lovely town. My partner is celiac and the staff were very aware of gluten content of their food. The menu changes with what’s available… so we had asparagus with each meal which was delicious. Fresh, simple, local, healthy food. My partner enjoyed the goulash ( made with pork, beef and deer) as well as traditional buckwheat porridge. I had a lovely gnocchi with prawns and asparagus as well as a delicious grilled chicken breast in salad. Asparagus soup too! Probably the best food we had in Slovenia. And the best value. A nice glass of house red wine was 1.60 Euros!
