The food was delicious. The first thing they asked me was if I had dietary restrictions which I was happy about. They have an excellent gluten-free menu that is all prepared and cooked separately. They were knowledgeable about gluten and took measures to cater to my celiac disease. It was nice to have a good meal out and not get sick. The staff were really friendly throughout. I will be back here. Thank you for a lovely meal and experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by Piccolo Mondo. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but inside is lovely. We went for a festive menu and the turkey was delicious. The red wine was amazing too. However, what really stands out is the service. From start to finish real care was shown to use thought the meal and we were made to feel very welcome. A live pianist was playing and the place was clean and tastefully decorated. As far as the local area goes this is a very nice restaurant. My only suggestion would be more options for gluten free AND vegan as a crossover, it’s not the most inclusive menu for dietary requirements. This is such a lovely cafe. Staff are excellent and the coffee and food are really good. They offer gluten free options as well for food and i highly recommend the scrambled eggs on Gf toast - its a huge portion!. The cakes look incredible ( note no GF cakes).

Great restaurant. Lived in the area for a while but the first time we've tried it. Food was excellent, really fresh and tasty. Staff also very knowledgeable and helpful around gluten/dairy free options and when asked were able to speak around the menu items with confidence. Service really relaxed and friendly. Great atmosphere within. Highly recommended.

Six of us visited at lunchtime today (Thursday) with 3 young adults with special needs for an 18th birthday. I had booked ahead and left a message of our requirements for a wheelchair accessible table. On arrival a table was ready and a small portable heater was nearby to ensure we were warm enough as it has been pretty cold recently. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. One of the adults has coeliacs disease and our host went through the menu and gave her a wide range of GF options. The food came promptly and everything was lovely! Really enjoyed the risotto fungi and the spaghetti bolognese went down a treat. Three of our table had pizza and every bit was devoured! Afterwards, birthday cake that we had taken was brought out along with some ice cream and coffees and again it was gone in seconds. When we arrived it was quiet but we didn't mind that. It got busier as we were leaving but we were happy with the atmosphere. When you have people in your group who are hyper sensitive to noise venues that are loud or over crowded can be over bearing for them but Toni Macaroni was just right. Value for money was excellent. I actually didn't read through the bill fully then on the way home wondered if they'd actually put everything on the bill because it was so reasonable! We've been here a few times and always leave satisfied but today we were especially pleased. Thank you for making our son's 18th birthday celebration lunch the best possible experience! A+++ all the way.
