Fantastic atmosphere, welcoming to our messy 10 month old baby. Absolutely delicious food including delicious gluten free options. The only thing missing that would have been the icing on the cake was if the tiramisu had been gluten free!
Vibrant atmosphere with a unique movie room for kids and an impressive selection sure to impress everyone!

Warm welcome at the door, staff lovely, shown to table, complimentary bottle of cold water on the table, a complimentary bag of delicious popcorn, a huge gluten free menu, staff very diligent when ordering off the gluten free menu a senior staff member comes to the table to assure you the food you have ordered is gluten free and is prepared separate to everything else, I always have just a few appetisers as my main meal, Frickes, bacon bites, tatties and the giant onion rings are a must my husband gets a selection of appetisers and generally the brisket, all in all the food is lovely, good portion size, staff are lovely so would recommend and will be back

We always go to the nostalgia tea rooms when we are in Southport town centre because they do excellent meals which are always nice and hot, they also have a gluten free menu which is great for me as I am coeliac and can not have wheat or gluten, the service is excellent and it doesn't take a lot of time to be served and then receive your meal so if you are looking far a place to have a meal then this is the place for you. The only downside is that the restaurant is up a long flight of stairs so it will be a problem for people in wheelchair.
We've been to this venue for 5 years now for Christmas Lunch. They forgot the butter on our 3 starters, The meats are lovely, roast potatoes and parsnips very very pale and mushy. The food was not hot enough. Then didn't have the gluten free desert that was pre ordered. ......Not good enough for the price.
A cozy gem perfect for chilly days, offering a welcoming vibe, delicious breakfast, and a dog-friendly atmosphere that invites you to return.

Heard so many excellent reviews about this place I thought I'd pop in and see what all the fuss is about. And I wasn't disappointed. My GP has given me some tips lately, like "leave the sugar out of your tea" and "seek the places that serve gluten free bread" so I consider myself something of a fussy eater. None of which fazed the staff here in any way, shape or form. They had gluten free toast readily to hand and never batted an eyelid at my request for honey in my tea. But everything I'd read about their Full English Breakfast turned out to be true. It was delicious. And the staff really pride themselves on their warmth and their ability to be helpful. Jen has perhaps the warmest smile and kindest nature in Southport. If I was being a nuisance with my camera (and I usually am) she never showed me anything except her huge and ready smile, and it was such a joy to be treated with such appreciation and kindness. The word of mouth reviews all call this place "one of Southport's hidden gems" and I can understand why. I really will be back, if only because the lunch menu looks even better than the incredible breakfast. And the welcome that Peter, Jen and Katrina offer is stunning. FIVE STAR (PLUS) βββββ+
