Left: meatball - right top: gluten free pasta with salmon , bottom arabiata. Overall service was good. Pasta was over cooked and meatball was kinda old( i could taste the oldness) . Marinara sauce was delicious but the arabiata was supposed to be spicy with chili flakes which i didnt see any. Wont go back for a second time personally, but not bad just to try out.
An unexpected gem in town with a lively atmosphere, plenty of drink options, and a super vegetarian-friendly menu that impresses!

We used to live about 5 minutes away from this spot in Van Nuys and had no idea it existed before we moved up the Santa Clarita Valley. Had we known it was here...well, I still think we would have moved, but we would have been slightly more sad about it. What a great place in an unexpected part of town!
We're vegetarians and the menu, especially for a gastropub as VERY vegetarian friendly complete with three types of vegan sausages, a veggie burger and vegan BBQ! Not to mention the many options of beer and cocktails to choose from, all in a really nice atmosphere that was crowded on the Thursday night we visited...plus family friendly!
I had a Vegan Smoked Apple Sage sandwich with onions and mustard. Really really good...plus a rum and coke style of drink (though i forgot what it was called and it doesn't seem to be listed on their website menu...it was highlighted as one of their signature drinks on the menu in house.) I'm usually a whiskey or bourbon guy, so this was a nice and sweet treat.
My wife enjoyed her fish sandwich which she had served on lettuce instead of bread for her gluten free preference.
The fries she got were great, and the onion rings I got were relaly great. Battered more like fish and chips batter than the typical breading you get around those.
If we lived closer we'd head back frequently This was all an all around great experience for us.
I have dined at Emle’s many times and this most recent time the food was average at best. I’m not sure if they were short staffed but after 20 minutes I had to waive down a gentleman so we could get tableware and order. I was happy to have found a great breakfast place in Northridge with gluten free options but after last time I’m not sure if I will be returning.
A cozy buffet with a surprising variety of flavors and a relaxed vibe, perfect for leisurely lunches from 11am to 3pm.

Incredible Lunch Buffet -- looks small at first, but packed with flavours and fancy vibes :) Fruits, salad, Rice, Veggies and soups (I skip the naan bread; but they have that) I'm able to find enough gluten-free vegan options and feels chilled coz they don't rush you out the door (Buffet 11am - 3pm)
Experience a warm, welcoming vibe with an authentic touch that makes you feel right at home among a lively crowd.

The food is exceptional! The owner came and introduce himself as he could tell we were first time customer. My friend enjoyed so much her zaatar and cheese manoushe, I have too many allergies and can only eat gluten free. He made me the best gluten free cheese and soujouk manoushe and gluten free falafel pizza as I can’t have a falafel sandwich . The employees are so friendly and the restaurant is so neatly organized. There were so many Lebanese and we felt like we were home. I would strongly recommend Zaatar and More.
