It’s definitely an upscale American dinner. Huge bar. What you would expect on the menu. There were gluten free buns with the burgers. I got the fish tacos without yogurt sauce. They were good, little soggy but that’s sorta to be expected with juicy fish. There was a skewer through the tacos that ripped a hole in the tortilla; not necessary. The beans and rice were very well seasoned; that was an unexpected plus. Not much for me in the desert department; full of gluten and dairy. Service was typical. Pleasant enough. Over all not bad just typical.
The spot near the airport offers a fun mix of food, an aircraft display, and a playground that makes it perfect for families to unwind before flights.

We had some time to kill before our flight back to the east coast, so we decided to check out The Proud Bird, near the airport. My husband had been here many years ago when it was just a restaurant, but the renovations done to provide a variety of food and drinks was similar to something we have in our home town. We weren't starving so we just ordered 2 pizzas to share, and they were delicious! I had a gluten free barbeque chicken pizza and I loved it! The playground was a perfect spot for our 6 year old and we all enjoyed walking around to see the planes on display. It was really neat every time I plane flew in too, as they were really close! Overall we had a great time here and would come back if we were in the area!
I go here all of the time because of proximity. It’s pretty much the only act in town or at least this corner. They have a lot of options for whatever allergies you may have (gluten-free, vegan, dairy free). And if you can eat anything, you’ll have so many healthy or full fat options. Great place for lunch, great variety. Love their avocado toast w/ egg & dirty matcha for breakfast and their beyond meat options or k-pop bowl for lunch. Sandwiches/salads are awesome too (Boar’s Head)
