It’s been a few years since I’ve been here, but the menu continues to impress. I ordered the A.T.O.M. bagel with gluten-free bread, which was fantastic. I really appreciated that with the substitution, I was not charged extra. The perfect place to sit and enjoy the delights of South Lake Tahoe.
I also really appreciate the menu, which makes it very easy to see what other options are available and what is popular. The wait in line is always a little long, but it is worth it. This is one of the OG places to find vegan and vegetarian food and it continues to impress.
Indulge in a fabulous dining experience with amazing dishes and a lively atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more!

We had a fabulous meal at Kalani's, food and drinks were delicious and service was outstanding! They have good gluten-free selections for celiac people like me.
My go-to morning coffee place. Great acai bowls, and the staff and owner are all super awesome! If you're gluten free, you can get the burrito as a bowl instead!
A bustling spot ideal for a pre-ski breakfast, offering creative vegan adaptations and hearty options without lengthy waits.

This place was the perfect spot to stop by for breakfast before going skiing! Even though vegan options were not listed on the menu the staff helped me make the pacific wrap with honey dressing vegan (soo good!) and cooked my oatmeal in water and it was delicious with some berries on top! Even though they were busy, the wait time wasn’t too long at all. Gluten free options available too.
Super nice staff, we were well taken care of even when waiting 10 mins for an outside table. Cute spot and the food was beyond belief. I had the huevos rancheros (they happily happily substituted the corn tortillas since I am gluten free) and their hot tea was actually hot. My boyfriend had their sweet and sour french toast and he said it was the best french toast he's ever had. We hope to return again soon!
Great food, unfortunately they had no offerings for vegetarians. My wife and I forgot to check the menu ahead of time, so that's our bad. They have great cocktails and an amazing view, so we tried to make the best of it with a selection of hors d'oeuvres, but they only had one of the meatless options available. So we had a couple salads and the zucchini with a tzatziki sauce, then ordered a couple desserts. Not the most filling meal (particularly for $122 without tip), but what we had tasted fabulous. Everything was flavorful and elegantly served.
We were seated at 5:30, and they were already out of one of the hors d'oeuvres, and before 6:30 we heard them telling other people that they were out of half the things on the menu. So it seems they have some planning issues, but the server was very friendly and as helpful as you could ever ask for. We heard her spend almost 10 minutes talking through the potentially gluten free options with another table. I would not have had her patience.
Cozy spot in the Sierra with fresh, house-made sandwiches and a delightful vibe, plus irresistibly tasty ice creams to enjoy!

Great tuna melts! On the way back from Tahoe we found this gem. Didn't have high expectations but was better than bay area tuna melts. I got mine on gluten free bagel and without cheese and that was excellent too. Hubby got his the regular way and it was really good. Not sure which bread they used but seemed like they make it in house, it was that fresh.
Kids got grilled cheese and ate without complaining.
Ice creams we tried: almond pistachio, butter pecan, cookies and cream. All very good.
The place has holiday decor and gives a very cozy vibe.
We're long-time "Beacon" customers and arrived to find it's now "The Grove." Our experience (four of us) was disappointing. First, the $15 fee to access the restaurant was collected a guy who lied to us and said, "Oh, it's always here in the summer." B.S. I've never paid in my life and the restaurant didn't refund it.
Second, the food was lackluster. One of the three cups of hummus had a metallic/foul taste...yuck. Fries were soft and limp. The gluten-free bun with the chicken sandwich wasn't good at all.
Third, as with everything--the price was high. $82 bucks for two with a couple of drinks. Not terrible, but add in the $15 parking/access charge and meal tip--and we're at $115 !
And a final note...just gross. Talking about the server/busboy who had a toothpick in his mouth the whole time we were there...and I saw him take it out and put it back in his mouth a couple of times.
Gotta scratch the "The Grove" off our list for a while. Plenty of choices in South Lake Tahoe.
We have gone twice here - once for our anniversary and once for my birthday (because I loved it THAT much). The staff is great, the food is amazing, and we are gluten-free, milk-free, and soy-free and they had a lot of yummy options for us!
A summer tradition with unforgettable vibes, where every visit feels special and there's always something new to enjoy!

My grandparents and I come here every summer, the experience and food is always phenomenal! Today we were welcomed by two nice lady’s. The food was spectacular, especially the Nutella crepe I had. My grandpa is gluten free and this year they have a new gluten free English muffin option! Overall we have a great experiences every time we step foot into this restaurant!
Enjoy stunning sunset views while indulging in uniquely tailored dishes that cater to special dietary needs, making it a must-visit spot.

Allergy friendly restaurant with great food and amazing views. I’m not one to write reviews but this earned one.
We went here for dinner with our two kids(4 and 2) that have serious food allergies (gluten, dairy, and eggs). When we advised the staff of the allergies they sent the chef out to go over them. The chef went over all the ingredients in what we ordered and confirmed that their fry fryer was only used for fry and there was not gluten in the fryer.
The chef even cooked the mahi-mahi on a piece of foil to ensure there was no cross contamination.
Our kids ate all their food and really enjoyed it. My wife had the Pacific Ruben and I had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich.
Our dinner was delicious and the view of the sunset was phenomenal. The staff was great and friendly. I can’t wait for our next trip to Lake Tahoe. This place is a must visit especially if you have any allergy issues. It was amazing to be able to go out to eat and not have to deal with allergic reactions.
