My fiancé and I absolutely love this location! ❤️ We came today to celebrate our 6 year anniversary for breakfast since we have been enjoying Egg Harbor as one of our favorite breakfast places for most of our relationship. Sam is an absolutely fantastic server and it was such a pleasure to have her! She made sure my gluten intolerance was accommodated to the best ability and made some great recommendations too. Will always be our favorite breakfast place!
Enjoy a stylish dining experience with top-notch dishes, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for special celebrations.

Like always, the restaurant is pretty and the service is great. The food is plentiful and delicious. I just think that the Arlington heights location should be more helpful with gluten free options.

We chose Cooper’s Hawk Arlington Heights to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. It was our first time at this location, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. They seated us in a cozy booth and surprised us with complimentary bubbles to toast our special day right from the start! Our server, Sean P., truly elevated our experience. His knowledge, honesty, and spot-on recommendations made our evening unforgettable.
Every dish and drink we enjoyed was simply delightful. I opted for the surf & turf with drunken shrimp and churrasco grilled steak, both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My husband ordered the Caesar salad and filet mignon, which were equally impressive. For dessert, we indulged in the chocolate cake with hazelnut ganache that was unbelievably delicious—and Sean even informed us it was gluten-free, a pleasant surprise given its rich taste and texture. To complement the cake, he brought us a sample of dessert wine, which paired perfectly.
Needless to say, we can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
This spot is cozy and welcoming, with an inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxed meal with friends.

Recently went out to breakfast with a friend and got the meat lovers skillet, it was delicious. They also have amazing gluten free pancakes! The service was amazing, we had Amanda as our waitress and she was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and she was very sweet. Additionally the atmosphere is very welcoming and homey. i would definitely recommend trying this place out!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was amazing. I tried a special dish but my friends each had something off the regular menu. Clearly honey is their thing and they use it well. It's clean, service is pretty fast, and has gluten free/dairy free options. I'd definitely go back.

Our family’s been regulars for many, many years. Coolest decor anywhere. Everything is delicious. Everyone is friendly. Wish they had a few more gluten free options, but appreciate that they do have some noted on the menu.

Got the hot chocolate with skrewball peanut butter whiskey and the smoked salmon plate. The hot chocolate was divine and the salmon plate was good too. Lots of gluten free options. Good place to sit and hang out too. Also love the heart shaped macarons for a date night out. Love coming here anytime I pass through!
Massive portion sizes and a clean, modern vibe make this spot a family favorite; it's perfect for brunch dates and offering fun treats!

They serve ridiculous amounts of good food, and we love the waiter we seem to get everytime we eat there. The prices might seem like they're a bit more than other places around the area but the quantity of food is always astonishing. We have usually 2 days of leftovers from the breakfast items we order.
I always do some sort of egg breakfast, with a side of gluten free pancakes. If you order pancakes (entree or side), they are the size of frying pans. Order 2, not 3 unless you're really really hungry.
My husband's only complain was that his omelet turned into more of a scramble, as in it wasn't very cohesive, with a remoulade sauce that didn't have much oompf. My omelette was just packed with veggies, so I suppose I had a similarly textured omelette. No complaints with mine.
The teenagers never have any complaints due to the sheer quantity of food.
It's a good place to try out!

Being celiac can be very challenging when going to small cafes. The waitress and owner understood celiac, and I was able to have eggs, hashbrowns and ham safely as they scraped and used a separate part of the grill. Gluten free pancake/toast option, but no separate toaster yet, they are working on it. Appreciate the effort.
This is a staple restaurant in our carryout regimen. We've been going there for years. Our favorites are their Tom Yum soup, Pad Se Ew with tofu and extra vegetibles (they can make the pad se ew with a gluten free sauce, which is very nice), sweet and sour, panang curry, cashew with tofu and extra pineapple, peanut sauce delight, and their edamame. Plenty of items for meat eaters, vegetarians, and even the gluten free (if you ask).

This Arlington Hts. breakfast spot was a real find! The atmosphere was super cute and inviting, perfect for a relaxing morning. One of the standout features was their selection of organic loose-leaf teas, which really elevated the experience.
As for the food, we order simple but it was executed perfectly. The gluten-free pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the over-easy eggs were cooked just right and the turkey bacon was crispy.
To top it all off, the service was impeccable—friendly, quick, and attentive. If you’re looking for a great breakfast in a charming setting, this place is a must-visit!

I wanted to try Scratchboard Kitchen for awhile now. Because of the pandemic, I was still a bit hesitant to dine indoors. Luckily, their patio was open and they do take reservations!
A friend and I made a noon reservation for Sunday. Got there on time but was told our table is not ready yet. Had to stand around and wait for about 20-25 mins. It was a gorgeous day out and there's plenty of stores surrounding the area that you can explore while you wait.
I love how they blocked off a whole street so customers can walk around the area without having to watch for traffic.
Did I mention this restaurant is women owned AND allows dogs out on the patio?! Masks are required when dining indoors. All staff are wearing their masks as well. If you can't stand wearing a mask, reserve a seat outside.
Our waitress was super friendly and gave us a quick intro about the restaurant. Everything is freshly made daily. Before going to the restaurant, I was looking forward to their Pastry Board. Homemade pastries are a must try for me! Unfortunately, it was already sold out by 12:30 PM by the time we were seated. Very disappointed but will try to come back earlier next time!
I ended up just ordering a Biscuit and their gluten free Banana Bread which comes with local honey butter and jam. This isn't your regular Pillsbury sized biscuit. It was big enough to share with another person. I absolutely loved the buttery and cheesy taste of the biscuit! Their honey butter goes really well with the biscuit! Loved it!
Banana Bread was really good too! I shy away every time i hear something is "gluten free" because it just tastes BAD. But NOT this Banana Bread!! The banana bread was very fresh, packed with banana flavor, moist and a little bit of a chewy texture to it.
My friend ordered the LAMB SHAKSHOUKA ( FETA, CILANTRO, BAKED EGG, SOURDOUGH TOAST). The lamb was cooked very tender and has a little bit of a spice to it. I wish there was more sourdough pieces to go with it because it was really delicious!
I can't wait to come back and try other items on their menu!

I visited for a lunch-time private event. They had our party in a separate room. I was not the host but want to review because of how awesome they are.
I can't eat gluten and they did an AMAZING job! Instead of bruschetta on bread, they had bruschetta on the tastiest grilled eggplant, they had gluten free pasta, a salad, chicken with cheese and sauce and steamed broccoli, ice cream for dessert. The staff made sure to tell me it was a gluten free plate for the courses where it wasn't as obvious. Love the communication, love the flavors.

This is like walking into an old diner. I loved it. The breakfast was great! They even had gluten free pancakes that were delicious, along with homemade potatoes. The food serving was quite large and I am glad we decided to share. There is a $2.00 fee to share, but so worth it. Finally the ham that came with our 3 eggs, potatoes, and gluten free pancakes(1.75 upcharge for gfree) was amazing! Our server was also great. We will definitely be back.
Last night was my first time dining at Palm Court. The chef made me a delicious plate of baked or broasted chicken breast, baked potato, & mixed vegetables.
I have some major dietary restrictions, not being able to tolerate gluten, & being on a severe sodium- restricted diet, as well. Given these restrictions, the chef created an extremely delicious chicken breast. I was very pleased. I look forward to returning to Palm Court.
