We recently used Beacon Daily for catering an event! I worked with Chris to create a menu that worked for the amount of people I was having. He was easy to work with, honest about the amount of food needed, clear about pricing and prompt with communication for any questions I had. They were there to set up food promptly and explained everything that was there, etc. Most importantly, the food was delicious!! All guests were happy. Thankful too for the gluten free options for my gluten free guests. Highly recommend for catering! I would considering working with them again in the future.
A charming spot with a welcoming vibe, it impresses with attentive service and a variety of tasty options, perfect for a leisurely outing.

I hate writing negative reviews but I feel obligated to leave one for the sake of anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions who is interested in dining here. I have celiacs, which is an immune deficiency triggered by gluten (wheat). My family chose this restaurant because they are known to be very accommodating for dietary restrictions and we made them aware of my restrictions when making the reservation. There was an item on the menu labeled as gluten free that I was interested in and upon ordering our food, I was notified that the menu was incorrect and that some items labeled as gluten free are actually not gluten free. I instead ordered the salmon and risotto. My food didn’t come out with my family’s food and I waited 15 additional minutes for my food to arrive to the table. During the time I waited, my family noticed that nearly every dish that arrived at the table was undercooked and needed to be sent back (and was still not cooked to the desired temperature when it returned to the table). My salmon was delicious and all was well until about an hour after I returned home when I became violently ill and remained so through Christmas. The only redeeming quality for this dining experience was the incredible, albeit very overwhelmed, wait staff who unfortunately had to do a lot of apologizing for our dining experience. I really wanted to give Melzinga’s the benefit of the doubt but when my health is on the line I expect it to be taken seriously or at minimum be told that I cannot be accommodated for.
Kitchen Sink catered our wedding and it was truly spectacular. Friday night was a fried chicken buffet that our guests could not get enough of. Saturday food came in two batches of amazing, but the first round--our picnic dinner--was really to die for. The grill-top veggies and roasted meats were something that our guests talked to us about for weeks following the wedding. It's hard to call this wedding food, because it was really just an utterly amazing, perfectly designed meal that we got to eat on our most special day. Food aside - the team is also fire. Brian is a master chef and I think Jeff is KS's master of the house - high energy, and makes you just feel fun and festive and special all of the time. HUGE thanks to KS... thank god you have a restaurant we can come back to again and again.
OH. And my husband has Celiac Disease. Almost everything was the same except for some pita, pie crust and the fried chicken. But he said his fried chicken is the best he's had. He got to enjoy with everyone else, not be nervous about cross contamination and the guests didn't have to eat strictly gluten free!
Known for its tasty variety and strong focus on sustainability, this spot is a great find after a day of adventure.

My husband and I have been going to The Wonderbar pretty regularly for dinner and drinks the last few months and love it.
The vibe reminds me of a sweet French bistro. The food is delicious with great gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options…definitely try the brussel sprouts! Izzy, the bartender is our Hudson Valley favorite! The cocktails are some of the most amazing and creative we’ve ever had…even the mocktails are a delight. Thank you all for creating such a warm and friendly environment, with consistently good food and drinks.

Not safe for gluten allergies, or celiac. Was served fries that “could be made GF” only to find out they are cooked in the same fryer as gluten items. Our waitress then argued “you said allergy, not celiac”. If this is how they treat allergies, I would stay far away from this place.
