Being new to Nebraska, we are finding our new favorites for everything, and Honest Abe's is top of our list! We require gluten-free and budget friendly, and they fit the bill. We have used take out and delivery. Very cheerful employees. I originally emailed about gluten-free options and received a pleasant and helpful response immediately! I can't say enough about them. We really enjoy the curry sauce.

One of the biggest surprises for me? Peanut butter on a burger. I had never even considered it before, but after trying one of their specials that featured peanut butter, I was completely hooked. My food was great. I only had a small issue with my granddaughter. She is very young and gets sick as she has celiac. Lunch was fine, as she had a GF bun. Couldn't get fries due to cross contamination, so she had steamed broccoli. All was good until she went up for her free ice cream. They had a snickers ice cream. She asked if it was gluten free, they said yes. It's not a good thing she knows that real snickers aren't GF (she thought it would have been a deconstructed snickers). Anyway, she didn't eat it, they replaced it with vanilla. Thanks for the adjustment, but please, be careful.
