Being a Coeliac I am always hesitant about eating out but Gluten Free bread was available and most of the menu could be adjusted for me. The service was quick and friendly and my daughter and I enjoyed a lovely lunch out. Thank you so much.
I honestly didn't believe that a delicious Dairy/Gluten Free/Low Sugar sweet treat existed! Until now! Just tried the cookies and brownies for the first time and I'm shocked how Ella's makes them taste so good. I won't even be missing Dairy and Gluten with their products now. Yum yum yum :)
Great spot, very friendly service. Had a gluten free wrap. The inner part was delicious, the wrap itself was a bit on the dry side, I'd suggest looking for other gluten free wrap alternatives
Ate there today for the first time in 18 months, as we thought it we’d re-try it after having a poor experience previously, but alas it was a repeat experience. As a Coeliac, my order had to be a variation on the menu (no pre-existing GF items listed on the menu), which was fine in terms of the staff being accommodating. I ordered a Hawaiian Melt (ham, cheese, pineapple) on gluten free bread, they couldn’t make Coeliac friendly chips (fair enough) and that came with a ‘side salad’. What I received for $16.95 was a slice of pineapple, a couple of slices of ham, some cheese, on one small piece of gluten-free bread (would have lucky to have been 8x9 cm) with a side salad that was made up of old and browning lettuce. Of course I’m appreciative they had any GF options but for $16.95 it should have been 2x the melts, especially when the table next to us ordered a wrap and chips for $19.95 from the same section of the menu, sure that is $3 more but I shouldn’t have received half their amount of food. Further, if I had not been Coeliac and had received just one slice of bread with the Hawaiian toppings I’d still feel shortchanged, more so though in my case as gluten free bread is often smaller than a ‘cafe slice’ bread. Let’s just say there won’t be a next time for us, and yes they shouldn’t have got a second chance.
