Top 9 Gluten-Free Cafes to Delight in Hahndorf

We were on our way back to Melbourne this morning, so looked up "best coffee Hahndorf" and this cafe came up. Everyone was so friendly, they had gluten free bagels and toasties on offer, and our search was right- the coffee was delicious. The toasties were cooked perfectly - not at all oily like some can be, and for any coeliacs out there, the chef came out herself to hand over our sandwiches and assure me that special care had been taken when cooking the GF one. The people are what make this cafe. Extra touches like the little pictures on our coffee lids were so sweet and they were all lovely.

Love coming to dinner at The Haus! The food is amazing, great selection of wines and a great atmosphere! I also love how many coeliac friendly options they have on their menu!

Used to love visiting here. As a person with Coeliac Disease, I used to be able to use most of the products, but in the last year, gluten has become an ingredient in more and more of their things. Coeliac Disease is not a fad, people! Not really worth me visiting any more… I just become saddened by all the things I used to enjoy and can’t, anymore.

Great Spot, food was pricey as you would expect for Hahndorf. To be honest the paella was not the greatest. We tried both the meat and veg options. The waiter was getting rather impatient with us as we had a few questions on Alergies/ Gluten free options.

Very impressed with their service.We found everyone knowledgeable about coeliac disease and strict gluten-free diet We were told that most dishes can be made GF and that the restaurant has coeliac safety measures in place. The food was delicious and they even made a gluten free Strawberry pot for my child. We returned after our strawberry picking for dessert which was equally delicious Lots of parking options,kid friendly,lovely atmosphere,very well organised

Staff were very caring to my mother in a wheelchair. I just wish there was more to select for gluten free. Mum & our friend loved their Beesting cake. 😊

Nice friendly cafe with good service and food. We had a nice lunch here and the staff also cater for celiacs.
