Delicious celiac safe establishment with world class baked goods and crepes. Their almond and chocolate croissants are fantastic! The crepes were devine. The owners were present, extremely friendly and confirmed their food was celiac safe. I was diagnosed with celiac 8 months ago. In my prior life, an almond croissant with morning coffee was a favorite. This was my first gluten free croissant and it was the best one I’ve ever had…better than I remember. I'm writing from Alberta! I was in Homesense a few days ago and found Susie Sans Gluten cookie flour - I eat gluten-free, and generally haven't had a lot of luck baking gluten-free treats that taste or act the same as treats made with regular flour. I turned the package over and saw this company is Canadian, and I thought - why not? Let's give it a shot. And oh. My. GOSH. I made my favourite cookie recipe from a blog I follow, subbed the flour for Susie's GF flour, and produced the yummiest, chewiest, MOST PERFECT cookies!!! My husband couldn't even tell they were gluten free!! I was honestly blown away. I found Susie's store online and reached out to her, and she was SO KIND and let me know I could buy stock through homesense or well.ca. So I may have placed a large order through Well to try some of the other flours and mixes.... haha can't wait to continue experimenting. Highly, highly recommend, based on the quality of the product and how kind this product's creator is, that you check this store out if you're in the area (wish I could!!), or if you're like me and too far away, purchase some of these flours online. I promise you won't be disappointed. Get ready to level up your gluten-free baking. The service is lousy, and there is a big lack of hygiene. Gluten-free pastries are not bad but not great either. If you're looking for a quick gluten-free pastry this is good. Otherwise it's not worth it.

I stopped at this place because I find the idea of ​​offering gluten-free, sugar-free and low-carbohydrate products excellent! A good for all and a comfort for us diabetics. One of the best brunch places in Montreal! Accessible prices, gluten-free version available without problem for celiacs, and excellent food with copious dishes!! Special mention for the scrambled tofu, the Greek, the full vegetables, the asparagus Benedictines and the red juice that I take every time! In short, a treat, a warm and friendly atmosphere. I'm obsessed!! I'm not vegan nor am I gluten intolerant, but Sophie Sucree is still my bakery of choice! My colleagues and I order the surprise boxes from Sophie Sucree at least once a week, it's such a good deal and it's so fun to see what we'll get! Their almond croissant in particular are out of this world. You would never know it's vegan. And their brownie with ganache is to die for as well. I've never been to the bakery in person but I hope to pop by one day :) Thanks Sophie Sucree!

The experience starts with a small crowded entrance space where you are supposed to wait until someone comes to seat you. Once finally seated, you'll wait for your simple order (crepes) for 40 minutes. Neither espresso nor hot chocolate are good, crepes are dry and tasteless. We only came here because they offer gluten free crepes and it was a big disappointment and a waste of time.

Pasta made fresh at the restaurant and the quality was outstanding in my opinion. I absolutely loved what I got: gnocchi with mozzarella and tomatoes in a pesto sauce. Cute space and really easy to hear each other talk even though there was music. The pizza looked good but none of us tried it, I like that there were cauliflower crust options and other gluten free options too if you need that. Also lots of veg options. We were served toasted bread and olives with oil and balsamic to start and they were perfect. I definitely recommend this place and especially before all those new condo developments bring in tons more people. We had two cars and were able to park right in front on a Saturday night.

Homemade sodas, poutine, burgers and milkshakes. Top quality classics! I would definitely go back! Gluten-free bread available for burgers (but I didn't taste it) quick service outside the tourist season, as it can fill up quickly during meal times in summer!

Firstly, I received a warm welcome. Afterwards, the lady kindly explained to us all the precautions taken regarding gluten-free. She also gave us descriptions of all the pastries she offers. The taste and texture of the gluten free pastries was 10/10! Really! From the beginning to the end of my experience I was delighted. The store is full of products from local manufacturers, the cleanliness of the place, the service, the super clean bathroom without forgetting that I confirm that this place is safe for people with celiac disease. So cute. The cats were all friendly and adorable. Food was good, tried the gluten free brownie and a latte. Not many food options but the focus is more on the cats and coffee.

They don't have gluten free options. In reality the place was full and they didn't feel like doing it. I WENT THREE times and they can never make the sandwich gluten-free. THEY SHOULD TAKE IT OFF THE MENU, shouldn't they? Otherwise it is false advertising, they say they have gluten-free bread and that is not the case. I PLACE one star because it won't let me place ZERO stars, since I couldn't even eat anything, on all three occasions. And I presume about your quality of service because as it is, you put GLUTEN-FREE MENU and you don't always have an excuse.

Diagnosed celiac here. I had one of the best, if not the best customer service about this. I called in advance describing my disease and asking if I had any gluten-free options, and the manager was so helpful, offering to read me the ingredients and even open a brand new box of sorbet to avoid any cross-contamination. He instructed one of the employees and she was indeed informed once I arrived, although one of the other employees was less helpful when I first came in. Portion size was huge (depends on the person though) and I overall felt really lucky. Tl;dr No "certified" gluten-free options but an amazing, personalized, customer service with lots of transparency so that you can make an informed decision.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday- late February - such a cozy spot with warm ambience; as much created by the space as by the staff with ever ready smiles and friendly demeanour. Tomato soup was just perfect with a superb salad. I purchased a gluten free croissant and I was thrilled beyond measure to find it actually taste and feel just like a regular croissant!! That’s a first for me. My husband got a no sugar added treat with dates and raisins and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough! Thank you for a great experience!

This is what I ordered (picture); buckwheat crepe (gallett) with emmental cheese and sauteed apple to go. I'm gluten intolerant so all the crepe I try in Montreal is of buckwheat. I've never seen galletts of this color before... it's a VERY dark gray and looked weird, and tasted weird too. I don't know what it is though, it tasted too intense and ...bad. Fillings were just cheese and cooked and sweetened apple, just nothing more than that. For buckwheat crepes, Juliette & Chocolat does it better! I won't come back here for galletts.

Went to TONQIUE for brunch with 3 friends. The service was a little slow but they made up for it with how well they knew the menu and how to accommodate for my gluten and dairy allergies. I was able to get soy milk for my latte and gluten free bread for my breakfast plate. The home fries are seasoned well and taste so good. My friend got the French toast and said it was a good balance of sweet and savoury with the berries. The avocado toast was also a hit. We’d all definitely come back and recommend to others !
