The selection of cakes and tarts is large, making the decision difficult. Especially for our daughter with celiac disease! Usually, if you have celiac disease, there is nothing you can safely eat in a 'normal' café. Things are different here for a change. Everything works here! Simply fantastic! Everything we tried was super tasty and really good. The pieces are neat and the price-performance ratio is right - even compared to 'normal' cake without the extra surcharge for the 'gluten-free' label.
The café has a large outdoor area. Inside it doesn't look particularly chic, but rather has the charm of a breakfast room. Personally, I find this irrelevant because I value cleanliness and good food more than good decoration. And everything worked out perfectly for me and my family. Thank you for that. We'd love to come back when we're nearby.
A charming café with a cozy garden, perfect for relaxing with delicious, homemade baked goods and a fun playground for kids.

We spontaneously stopped on a bike tour with our child (1.5 years old).
Special challenge: food allergies (gluten, egg, nuts)
Outdoor area:
In the garden there is a huge fleet of tractors, excavators and other vehicles in the middle of a large sandpit. Perfect for our child, who pointed at the toys with big eyes. We sat in one of the beach chairs and watched him play.
Food and Drink
Since our child has some food allergies, we asked for gluten-free, eggless, nut-free options. The service was so nice and showed us solutions straight away.
We all had something delicious to eat. For our little one there was house soup + gluten-free bread.
Toilets
Clean and tidy. Even with a changing table
Overall, a café that makes you feel good, we felt very welcome - would be happy to come back!
Charming café with homemade cakes and a cozy vibe, featuring a lovely terrace and options for various dietary needs.

A lovingly furnished café where nothing seems to fit together, but that's why everything is right. There is a changing selection of cakes and tarts and a selection of breakfast options. There is a selection of gluten-free and vegan dishes.
Coca Cola is deliberately avoided and collected for the Café Tafel.
A café where everyone should feel comfortable :)

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with our visit this time. Unfortunately, the taste of the salad was not convincing - next to the salad there were also wobbly mushrooms and perhaps some taste problems. Canned champions were there, which overall didn't seem very appetizing. The consistency of the meat was also rather tough and didn't seem fresh. The portion of the salad was also quite small and was reminiscent of packaged goods and not washed. The fact that it wasn't tasty was accepted without a word.
Another point that is important to us: My one daughter eats gluten-free - unfortunately there was no alternative such as gluten-free pasta. In this day and age, we would have liked to have been more considerate of intolerances.
In addition, another dish with extra sauce was ordered, which was unfortunately ignored. When asked, this was not discussed further, which was a shame. Unfortunately, my daughter couldn't enjoy the food.
Overall, it was an expensive visit and unfortunately we left hungry. We hope that something will change in terms of quality and service in the future, because the atmosphere is actually very nice - the potential is definitely there.
Experience top-notch service and careful attention to food intolerances at this spot, where quality and taste shine through.

If we could, we would give one more star for the service. Our daughter has celiac disease and great advice was given to ensure that everything was brought to the table separately without contamination.
The food was very tasty and very good quality. We can only recommend it.
Chill spot with ample parking and a fun kids' play area, plus a separate fridge for unique cake options.

On our drive from the north to the western tip we wanted to snack. With celiac disease this is complicated. So at the rest stop we tried the “find me glutenfree” app and the café was suggested to us. Called briefly to see if gf was in stock and then went there. Everything is sweet here! From the furnishings to the loving dishes, mocktails with glitter, the extremely delicious chocolate cake and the staff. Rarely have I felt so comfortable in a foreign country! Very familiar with great, small dishes! Highly recommended and it definitely wasn't our last visit! Thanks!

The atmosphere is very rustic as you walk past old ships that are currently being restored. Then you sit in individual groups under a large canvas. The gluten-free cheesecake tasted great.
Gladly again

Beautiful, small coffee roastery with a view of the sea :). There are vegan and gluten-free milk options (oat and soy milk). The coffee was very tasty and there was very nice, calm music playing in the background. Absolute recommendation!

Went for dinner with the whole family.
Every special request, no matter how small, was taken into account.
It's also a dream for people who have to eat gluten-free, as there are a lot of gluten-free dishes and many of the burgers can also be made gluten-free.
In addition, very competent, attentive and friendly service.
Absolute recommendation!

I would give it more like 3.5 stars if possible. There were some staff who couldn't answer many questions about gluten, for example, and requests such as getting the fried potatoes without bacon could unfortunately not be fulfilled. So the kitchen lacks a bit of flexibility. Most of the food was quite tasty. The side salad is a bit old-fashioned with the quarter tomato, the canned carrot strips etc.. you can do it once, but it wouldn't entice us a second time.
Very pleasant atmosphere and attention and delicious food. They have numerous vegetarian and vegan options and a couple of gluten-free meat and fish dishes.

What a cute and quaint cafe. Very lovingly decorated inside. It certainly wasn't easy with all the German monument protection requirements. You can get delicious warm meals here. But the cake is awesome. All cakes are baked by the owner herself. And you can just taste it. Sometimes gluten-free etc. Large pieces and the price is reasonable. It is becoming increasingly rare to find such a piece of jewelry. Delicious cocoa and sometimes an honest coffee not from the machine

First of all: Very nice staff
Sweetly decorated, cozy café with home-made food and fresh, homemade cakes. Gluten free options available.
Café with alternative milk.
the best café in Oldenburg, clearly. Nice to see that something like that still exists here. Otherwise the city is unfortunately dying out. What politicians have been thinking in recent years is a disgrace.
Expect a tasty twist with unique sweet and savory delights, plus a variety of fantastic vegan options and convenient take-away coffee.

The waffles are simply incredibly delicious (sweet and savory). They are also available vegan and gluten-free and they taste great too. The ice cream was also great, including several vegan varieties! Coffee to take away in a deposit cup
