And as others mentioned given the portion and location this place has reasonable prices - much appreciated! I had the Italienne crepe and a Cafe Viennois - both delicious. Petit Royal is a lovely, cozy cafe in Zermatt. They had some excellent vegan and naturally gluten-free options clearly marked. We noted the 'Banana Bread (Vegan. Lukewarm and Naturally free from Gluten)' and the 'Blueberry cake (With dark chocolate and blueberry filling. Vegan, naturally free from Gluten)'. We chose the Blueberry Cake and it was absolutely delicious! To drink, we enjoyed a hot apple and ginger “homemade tea” and a cold elderflower, lemon, & mint “homemade lemonade”. The staff were friendly, though service was a little unhurried. So, if you're in a rush, ordering to go is a good tip. We had the time to relax, so it was a very pleasant visit.
