A great vegan and gluten free friendly cafe situated on the main high street. A wide range of offerings from sandwiches, cakes and pastries, along with hot and cold drinks, and plenty of snacks. The food was great (albeit overpriced but given the quality I’m more than happy to pay for this).
The only downside was the service, there was no outdoor table service for us, and each time we ordered something it felt as if we were running them off their feet from their reaction!
Otherwise, excellent cafe with a very nice atmosphere.
Coeliac safe afternoon tea! Knowledgeable and understanding staff. Delicious gluten free afternoon tea almost identical to 'normal' afternoon tea. Gluten free sandwiches, fruit or plain scone and selection of cakes.
Welcomed us in with two very muddy dogs (is the new forest and typical English autumn weather 🌧 after all ), great coffee, amazing bacon sarnies, the dogs concur 🐶🤣, even better one was gluten free bread. We shall be back, what a little gem 💎
What's not to like. Fabulous location, right on the beach with views across to the isle of Wight, the Needles Eye Cafe sits next to a large childrens play ground with facilities for both infants and older children. The sea is a stones throw (and there are lots to throw!!) away. A reasonable amount of indoor seating and clean toilet facilites and outdoor seating for better days. There is also a lot of public benches all along the front on which to eat a bag of chips or have an icecream. There chicken nuggets are the best around and will spoil you for anywhere else!! They also have a very nice gluten free carrot cake but it sells out fast.
