Amazing food, friendly staff. Managed to cater for me despite my large number of food intolerances, even going out of their way to check the ingredients on their gluten free rolls and desserts

Such an interesting and characterful, attractive place! We chanced upon the Old Electric Shop when seeking a brunch (with gluten free options). We were impressed with the quality of the food and the welcoming, very helpful staff. Well worth a visit even if it is only to wander around and enjoy the variety of interesting displays. Oh, and the coffee is very good!
Delight in unique flavors like brown bread ice cream at this cozy spot, where the service is attentive and the atmosphere is worth the wait.

Incredible. Gluten free cones and the best sorbet I have ever had. So kind and considerate of gluten requirements, the owners should be proud of their staff and other companies should take note!!
A bustling cafe with a cozy vibe, offering a delicious variety of adaptable dishes and a quick service experience.

I recently stopped by The Cosy Cafe in Hay-on-Wye for lunch, and it was a truly delightful experience. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was impressively quick and efficient. The food was absolutely lovely, with a great selection of gluten-free options available. The oat milk lattes were a highlight, and the raspberry and almond Bakewell tart (gluten-free) was simply divine. The cafe's warm and inviting atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax. For those planning a visit, there are on-street parking options and a small car park nearby, with a larger one just a short walk away. I highly recommend The Cosy Cafe and look forward to returning soon!

Absolutely loved it here. I had the fish cakes. They were Gluten free and you have 2 on a bed of outstanding celeriac slaw, pickled red onion and salad leaves with homemade tartare sauce. There is mozzarella in the fish cakes too. 😋😋😋 Very welcoming lady to greet you and take your order.
Quirky and beautiful spot with a unique vibe, offering a delightful experience where the wait for amazing food feels totally worth it.

Quirky but beautiful little restaurant ! Amazing food , excellent choice with the benefit of actually having some gluten free options too . Staff attentive and service good ,the food took a while to arrive but it was well worth the wait . Worth a visit .
Lovely cafe, friendly and helpful staff. They do a gorgeous gluten free cuppachino cake. The other food options look great too, but I can't comment on how they taste x
