My favorite coffee shop in town!! Love the baked goods - the gluten free options are awesome too. The coffee is always delicious and a large selection of tea. Very cute space with goodies to buy. Would be great for gifts!!
Came back and tried the Tchaikovsky and it was delicious!!

Hearth boasts an impressive exterior and gorgeous interior. It is warm and opulent, with cafeteria style dining. Given few gluten free options, I ordered in the cafe/ bakery section: a turkey BLAT sandwich on gluten free bread; it came with house made pickle slices and chips. It was not clear if the fryer was dedicated for chips or gluten free foods. I waited about 15 minutes for my sandwich before seeing it sitting on the counter in front of the cashier; he had not called my name. The sandwich was tasty, but $15 felt steep. I noticed bus bins full of dirty dishes and overflowing trash. I really wanted to enjoy my lunch at Hearth, but for me, it wasn't worth the visit.
Cozy spot with locally roasted coffee, fresh flowers, unique gifts, and a welcoming vibe that's perfect for hanging out or grabbing a treat.

Best cafe in Portsmouth! Love that they serve my favorite locally roasted La Mulita coffee and espresso. The savory or sweet oatmeal bowls and pastries are delicious. Almost everything can be accommodated gluten free. Lovely staff and such a cozy atmosphere. The house-made syrups are such a treat, I especially adore the cardamom-rose latte. It's the perfect one-stop-shop for coffee, sweet little gifts, natural wines, and flowers!
Experience a cozy vibe with vibrant Turkish decor and lively conversations that make each visit feel both authentic and inviting.

Wonderfully Authentic Turkish Coffeeshop
Beautifully decorated with Turkish rugs, and travel photos: Kilim serves Turkish coffee and pastries, and some Gluten-free selections.
You'll likely encounter at least one group of old men deep in conversation about half in English, which adds to the charm.
Excellent service.
I went in and asked for a cup of mocha chip, gluten-free (as claimed on the menu.) I got halfway through my cup and found a large piece of sugar cone (not gluten-free) in my ice cream! I asked the server about it and got a simple: "Oh sorry!" If Izzy's is going to claim their ice cream is gluten-free then they have to train their employees about allergies and have the procedures in place so that gluten sugar cones do not end up in the tubs with gluten free ice cream. And if there is a mistake the contaminated gluten free tub should be discarded and a new one added. Otherwise don't call the ice cream gluten-free.
