i picked this place for the many gluten free options, both drink and food wise. the bartender was super kind and showed me the gf beers in the bottle shop and helped me pick the rice and quinoa bowl. i don’t know what black magic y’all have going on in the kitchen, but i’m bewitched and broken top bottle shop will forever be my bend go to spot for drinks and food!!!

Had brunch here with 2 of my teens we ordered: 1. Junkin with gluten free toast (gluten free options) 2. Classic breakfast with bacon and a biscuit 3. Breakfast sandwich. Pros: Service was fast and friendly. Place was clean and inviting. Cons: They only have oat milk and cow milk no other milk alternatives. Not the end of the world but worth knowing if you want a fancy coffee with breakfast. Food: The food was a 4.5/5 the sandwich was a hit and the classic breakfast was good with the exception that the potatoes were bland with no seasoning and not very crispy. The Junkin was good except 50% of the veggies were turnips. Which are not my favorite so picked most of them out. The gluten free toast was delicious! (Note I've had the junkin before when it was more balanced with more of a variety to the veggies so this might be hit or miss) Over all a good visit Side note there is no parking lot or designated space for parking so you have to find a spot on a residential street which can be tricky.

We got great celiac friendly breakfast burrito! Loved that! Not going to lie, the coffee tasted rancid like they needed to clean out the espresso machine and recalibrate it. I threw out my full cup but my partners tea was great! The male barista was a bit snooty to us as new to shop customers but everyone else was great. That dropped a star but the great prices on food was 5 star!

We ordered the maple cinnamon roll, blackberry scone and gluten free veggie frittata. All delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful and you’re surrounded by gorgeous stained glass window art pieces and paintings that are for sale. A must stop in Bend.

Such a lovely spot. It’s so nice and cosy inside, and they have a wonderful outdoor seating area out back on the river. They have the best gluten free vegan donuts!

I love Thump coffee. The Baristas are always friendly and go out of their way to give you a great coffee drink. I also appreciate that they offer really tasty gluten free pastries.

We loved it here! Officially our favorite coffee shop in Bend when we visit! Great coffee, Safe gluten free celiac friendly pastries! We were so thankfully for that as those are hard to find. Good coffee and super cool shop.

Super cool place! Looks small from the outside but has a generous amount of seating inside. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Unique menu with great gluten free options. Would definitely stop in here again!

I love this restaurant. The food and drinks especially the morning cocktails are exceptional. The staff and waitresses were so sweet and attentive, patient with a smile. High recommend the food here, perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp and lobster on an eggs Benedict with morel mushrooms absolutely made my day. Gluten free options available and made to request. I waited over 38 years to finally visit this restaurant even though I knew it had a great reputation but now it's apart of life forever.

This was my first time at Cafe Yum! It was delicious. Food was very fresh. Workers were friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the variety. Gluten free and vegan options too, which is always a plus! I will definitely go again next time I'm in Oregon!

The coziest atmosphere ever! Difficult to find seating during peak hours but between the fireplace and the view of the park and ducks across the parking lot, you feel like you're in a warm ski lodge. Consistently good hot chocolate (not too sweet) and lattes, and a fine selection of gluten free pastries

The breakfast sandwich is one of the best. I got the gluten free version and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the croissant and he said it was amazing!

Very yummy hot chocolate and gluten-free cookies! The space was chic and comfortable, including an outdoor space with a fire. Service was also incredibly friendly. Recommended!

WOW I am so impressed with Backporch Coffee Roasters! Stopped here when driving through Bend to check out a local coffee roaster - ended up coming back multiple times during my 1.5 weeks in the area. The coffee is just really good. I got hot and iced lattes that were consistently made well. On my first visit to this location I got the honey lavender latte and loved it. My friend and I each walked away with a bag of beans to take home. We also tried out the pour-over packets which are perfect for camping or having in class. They have a case of great-looking baked goodies - the only vegan item is a bagel (hope for more in the future) and there are some gluten-free items. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie is amazing! There are also some bars and chocolate bars. The atmosphere is very laid back. It's the perfect spot to hang out with a friend or study/work on a laptop. Not too loud inside and they have free wifi that works very well (I was able to stream videos without any issues). Can't wait to come back!
