Went two separate nights. Spinach Salad with grilled chicken breast and cranberry mayo dressing, very good. The second night I had BBQ chicken and pineapple pizza with gluten free crust, very tasty. Great service and accommodation for dietary needs.

I have celiac disease I had GF brisket meal. Absolutely amazing, mouthwatering delicious!!! Next time I had GF poutine !! Again amazing and delicious ! I have not had GF food this wonderful in many years Great service awesome waiter ! Loved it there ! Thank you Frankie's from Ontario for delicious GF food, great shanty atmosphere and great service, large servings and great prices. You rock !!

We've been here twice in the last two years and very much enjoyed our stay both times. The service is great, the beds/bedding so comfortable, and the bathrooms are fantastic - you can enjoy a deep soak tub and then peer through a bathroom window that looks out over your room's view. The forest view is lovely but this last time we had an ocean view and it was especially enchanting as we could still enjoy the ocean as the moonlight danced across the water. Lots of great beach and walking paths nearby, even into town so you can get amenities or enjoy local businesses. Also so pet friendly! They even supplied bowls, bedding and treats for furry companions, and there's an easy to access dog wash station. Spa was also high quality service and the Currents restaurant was great at accommodating for celiac disease.

This was the fresh, filling lunch I've been craving! We got the Pad Thai and falafel bowls and both were delicious - so much flavor! Thankful for this healthy, vegan, and gluten free option.

Very nice pizza. We had the gluten-free crust and it was really good. Also excellent fries. A bit of a wait as we were part of a Friday night rush, but that's cool- it's a small place.

This place was a gem with super friendly staff (owner). They offer delicious gluten free crepes made with buckwheat. I tried 3 of them - the salmon, cinnamon sugar and banana nutella ones - all were really good, my favorite being the nutella. I went there back to back twice. Great coffee and amazing ice cream as well (tried their raspberry flavor). Highly recommend and would definitely go back whenever I'm in town!

We visited Pluvio in Ucluelet a couple of weeks ago for the Chef’s Tasting Menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings, and it was hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had. What stood out was how beautifully the team accommodated my partner’s vegetarian and gluten-free dietary restrictions. Often, that can mean a compromised menu, but not at Pluvio. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and just as impressive as the standard menu. The food itself? Phenomenal. Each course brought something new to the table, showcasing locally sourced ingredients in the most inventive and delicious ways. Everything was beautifully plated, full of surprising flavours, and consistently spot-on. The pacing was perfect, and the pairings, both with and without alcohol, elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for a special night out where every detail is considered and the food is truly unforgettable, Pluvio is a must. We can’t wait to go back.

The ambiance, food, scenery and service was second to none. Melissa was an attentive and informed server-lovely to be around. As a table with dietary restrictions (celiac), we felt confident in the menu and were able to safely enjoy the majority of the menu. Absolutely a must stop if you are in Ucluelet or Tofino Would give 10 stars if I could! We will be back

This place is a gem. Fantastic and varied craft beer (they had eight beers on tap when I was there), tasty and very reasonably priced food (including gluten free and vegetarian options), lovely ambiance (including an outdoor patio with great views of the harbour, and friendly staff. As well as the usual growler fills, they have their own canning machine, and they'll make you up mixed packs of your favourite beers. If you find yourself in Ukee, make sure you stop here!
