I can't digest gluten and usually do not look forward to eating out. Boston Pizza has changed that! Their gluten free bun is heavenly, truly the best I have ever had. Highly recommended!
I visited Mr Mikes Steakhouse for lunch on September 6th after returning home from a weekend at Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
With COVID, masks are required to enter the restaurant but can be removed once you are seated. I had the entire restaurant to myself which was nice.
Being that this is a steakhouse, I was pleased to find a vegan option on their menu. I ordered the Fun Guy Burger which was the vegan burger and had a lettuce wrap as they didn't have a gluten free bun option. I had the Cascadia Salad as a side. The meal was fantastic and tasted amazing! In the future, it would be awesome to see a gluten free bun option on the menu.
The serving staff were friendly and professional. They originally brought out my burger with a regular bun after I had requested a lettuce wrap, but this was promptly fixed by the kitchen. I was pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Would return again!
