Kind of a perfect little pub. Amazing staff that makes you feel like home. Food is nice and reasonable, and a great gluten free menu. I went back quite a few times and loved my time there. Nothing fancy at all, what you see is what you get and it’s great!
We had an absolute lovely time at the Gables. We watched the most beautiful sunset on the deck while eating a great dinner! They even had blankets you could cuddle up with when the sun went down. Our server was absolutely fantastic!! My partner can’t eat gluten and our server went through the menu with us and shared how the kitchen could make many of the plates gluten free. It was a breath of fresh ocean air! We will definitely be back to the Gables, and recommend it to anyone going to St. Andrews!
We stumbled upon this shop and we’re so happy we did! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our lunch (a grilled pesto and cheese sandwich and a Buddha bowl) were delicious! We sat outside and ate and multiple people peeped our food, asked us about it and headed on in! My partner is gluten free but I am not, so they made sure no cross contamination happened. They also have a ton of gluten free products inside. Will definitely swing by again when we’re in St Andrews next.
Everytime I've been I'm continually impressed. The staff is outstanding, friendly and accommodating. The menu has been different everytime I visited and each time my meal has been amazing.
My partner has dietary restrictions and the menu includes both gluten free and vegan options that were stupendous.
My most recent visit I had the burger with bacon chutney, tried the gluten free chocolate cake, the something smores dessert, the corn dip appetizer and vegan gnocchi. Everything was out of this world. The chocolate cake was legitimately better than normal chocolate cake from fancy bakeries in toronto. The corn dip had candied jalapeno that I am absolutely in love with and will be attempting to replicate at home.
Thanks so much Seasons! Can't wait till the next time!
Enjoy stunning views and generous portions here, along with a menu that thoughtfully highlights options for all preferences.

Portions were generous and view was amazing. We had two salads, gluten free hush puppies, and a glass of sangria. Appreciate the gluten free markings on the menu. Julianna was amazing and service was top notch!

Had a really lovely time having lunch here with my best friend, she had the chowder and lobster roll, I had a burger and salad. All of our food was amazing! They accommodated my gluten free request without batting an eye. It was a neat restaurant atmosphere where we went to a window to order our food, they gave us a number, and then brought the food to us at our table. The survice was fast, and the food was fabulous! We didn’t feel rushed to leave, and we loved the outdoor feels of the restaurant.
YUM! Delicious small batch ice cream (the honeycomb flavour was a total knockout, omg) and kennel corn. They even have gluten free sugar cones!! I was so thankful to see the staff being so careful to make sure no cross contamination happened. Lots of little tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the view. It was the perfect treat after an afternoon out on the water whale watching.
Breakfast is really good. The food came out hot, was displayed very nicely, and the portion sizes were perfect. There was a brief moment of confusion about what "I'm dairy free" means (I maintain dairy comes from dairy cows and therefore eggs are not considered dairy) but I was able to safely eat my breakfast. It's worth noting that the bread is NOT dairy free (it contains milk powder). The bread made it onto my plate but the server caught it before I ate it.
This place offers gluten free options, vegetarian and vegan options, has a keto burger, and has options to accommodate seafood allergies. And there's food available for all you carnivores too.
My favourite surprise with breakfast was the "tomato" option instead of the regular sausage, bacon, ham choices. I very much enjoyed my breakfast, and was full even without eating the toast. I recommend this place and will be back!
Beautiful spot in the garden. Food is great and they were very conscious about our gluten free requirements. Kids menu was great and included a cute desert.
Enjoy a great experience with a standout server, unique options, and solid value for the price in a lively atmosphere.

Great experience! Super great server, Ruben! Quite a few gluten free options, and the gluten free bread for the club sandwich was on point! Good food and service for the price paid, it wasn’t outrageous as one might expect from the Algonquin!
