This hidden gem is fantastic! The cakes are so fresh, the pastries are delicious, not too busy so you can grab a seat & enjoy. Every time I have been there, they have had seating available. I highly recommend trying the almond or pistachio croissant, they actually cut down the middle & fill with the nut paste (almond paste/pistachio paste) so every bit has an explosion of flavour... They also have a swiss roll/cake roll with butter icing inside & lots of it, that comes in 4 flavours, pistachio is divine! So Yummy! A nice selection of drinks to pair with your bakery choice hot & cold. They use a butter icing, that is so light & you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. If you are not a sweets lover they have a diverse selection of nuts, roasted & exotic. They also have savory meat or vegetable pastries to indulge in for a snack or meal. Full cakes available for special events, customizable as well. No gluten free options, no nut free unfortunately & vegans do have the nuts as an option (they can accommodate vegetarian as they eat eggs/milk).
The staff & owner are kind, patient & helpful. The environment is quiet, modern & light filled, perfect for a meet up or date.
Lots of parking available as it is in a business facility. Bus also available either on Leslie or a 10 minute walk from York Mills. 2 entrances off Leslie, can be hard to see from the road. Also has many interesting businesses in the area like poster warehouse & gym.
