This place is so great, they have gluten free AND vegan donuts (vegan ones I haven’t tried but GF ones are really good) which is really cool and there is a strictly gluten free restaurant a few doors down so if you have that allergy these are great places to check out! I am not sure how the preparation is at the Goods for cross contamination but when I’ve seen them baking them they keep them separate from the other donuts. Some of my favorite donuts ever I have gotten here… a strawberry shortcake one and churro ones, omg so good! Wish I had pictures of those fancy ones but I got the vanilla sprinkles one and it was amazing, the dough is a little dense compared to a normal donut… which is to be expected for gluten free but still delicious! They also have coffee drinks which are great too! Chai tea latte is my favorite

This restaurant has a great variety of options for everyone, but we stopped by specifically for their vegan offerings and we weren’t disappointed! The avocado sandwich was fresh and tasty, but the standout was the vegan empanada with their chimichurri green sauce. So flavorful and satisfying even our picky-eater kids asked for more. They also have gluten-free options, which is a big plus. We’ll definitely be back!

If you are visiting carlsbad beach/village, this place deserves a visit. Their freshly made crust cooked to perfection per your requirements alone demands a visit. We ordered a thin crust crispy veg pizza and slices of pepperoni pizza. Really delicious garlic knots and a calzone is a must when you visit this place. You can customise the calzones. We ordered mozzarella and ricotta calzone. It was devoured in a blink of an eye. Also, great gluten free options and lots of beers to pick from. The only thing you have to make sure is that try not to visit this place over the weekends as it gets really crowded and has very limited seating options. There is no upfront parking. Wouldn’t call this place wheelchair friendly either. You might need to park a couple of blocks away or find a paid parking.

The service is excellent. Super welcoming and friendly. The desserts are delicious. The tiramisu was my favorite, followed by the berry cheesecake. And the ingredients are super clean, gluten-free, vegan, paleo, no seed oils...and so good!

Gregorio's is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the cozy Italian villa ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. We visited on a Saturday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately! The handmade pizzas were a hit at our table — absolutely delicious — and the gluten-free pasta was hands down one of the best I've ever had. My husband loved the gnocchi. Everyone was raving about their meals! Our server was an absolute queen — charismatic, attentive, and made our night so much fun. She truly elevated the whole experience. The wine selection was fantastic as well, perfectly complementing the flavorful dishes. If you're craving authentic Italian cuisine with great vibes and exceptional service, Gregorio's is the place to go! Can't wait to return.

We went to Sushi Taisho for dinner last night, and it was such a great experience! We shared a nice bottle of sake, ordered multiple rolls, and even got individual hand rolls—which were generously portioned and delicious. One of our friends needed gluten-free options, and they had plenty available, which was great. The service was excellent—super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is really cute and cozy, with a warm atmosphere. It’s located upstairs in Carlsbad, so there’s a nice little view of the area, and you can even see the train coming in. Plus, you can hear live music from downstairs, which adds to the fun vibe. The seafood was super fresh, the space was clean, and everything we tried was fantastic. We went as a group of four, got seated without a problem, and had a great time splitting different rolls and trying new things. Definitely a highly recommended spot!

This place is amazing! My wife and I have now been here twice. The tacos are some of the best you can get—which says a lot for Southern California. The salsas and hot sauces are all made from scratch in house, the service is amazing, and it’s an upscale yet relaxed environment inside. Can’t recommend enough. Bonus points for GF folks—they have a dedicated fryer and most menu items are gluten-free.

Went for dinner and this place was hoppin'. The wait without a reservation is very long, so try to get one. Otherwise, plan to maneuver your way into the open bar seating, which is what we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant concept is fun and well carried throughout. The food and drinks were awesome and there are plenty of gluten free options. The staff was very helpful to guide us through the menu to avoid any gluten issues.

very cool hang out for tacos and more. We went there for a late lunch, but the bar and patio seating screams the kind of place you want hang out for a bit. We each had a taco and split a salad. sooo good. certain I'll stop by again before leaving town. Bonus - VERY fresh handmade corn tortillas, and they even took precautions to reduce likelihood of cross contamination for my gluten free meal. super friendly and casual. try it, you won't be sorry.

I had no idea this restaurant existed in Carlsbad and it was really great. It has a small Historical Museum focused on Boston that was fun to walk through. The best for me was they had gluten-free items on their menu, I had Shepherd's Pie which is normally off limits for me because of the gravy but theirs is gluten free and delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurants (this location AND the Hillcrest one, too!) The employees are great and the food is better than most similar places closer to my home. There are things on the menu that I haven't found anywhere else in the county. Even the non-spicy items have rich and complex flavors that keep me coming back... and bringing visitors to my home with me! Solid recommendation. They have a good vegetarian and Gluten-free selection. You have to be a little more careful to be dairy-free, but everyone here is very familiar with the menu and will answer any questions you have before you order.

This is the place to come if you want healthy and fresh food or juice. It's easy to get too. There is a ton of parking. It's in a industrial park where you would not expect it to be, but there are lots of great places around here, so don't miss this one. Everything on their menu uses Gluten Free, Organic, Dairy Free & 100% Plant Based Ingredients. There is handy cap accessible parking, street parking, and a free parking lot. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
