Best gluten free and vegan option. We are vegan and we know we will find great options. My spouse is coeliac and we always enjoy eating extremely tasty food. We had the green pho soup-delicious and the lunch special with the curry dish-delicious too. Shirley and Rory were our helpful and friendly servers today.

Firstly, I have coeliacs disease and was so pleased to see a wide range of gluten free options. The food portion sizes was spot on. We had 5 “tiffins” between two of us. The option for drinks was very good. To the food…it was simply bloody lovely and wished we had one near Southampton. Atmosphere and decor, again was spot on, and to make the evening even more special for my wife (who is the foodie), Nisha was also there and took the time for a photo and chat. An amazing night and a great memory.

I had picked our hotel in Liverpool for a long weekend break partly due to it's proximity to the Free State Kitchen and it's rave reviews. So relieved it did not disappoint.
Had the double French Onion burger which was the best burger I've had in my life (with some tough competition in the US and Spain), which is extra difficult these days as I developed Coeliac disease in the last few years. My wife had the Macaroni Cheese which was good, but also the Chocolate Brownie which was (also) the best she's ever had.
So fantastic and refreshing to see food that is so often underrated in the UK as cheap fast food staples be prepared with fantastic ingredients by people who really care about what they are doing. Service was great as well.
When we're next back in Liverpool, this is now a mandatory stopover for us!

We came on a Monday for bottomless. Abby was a lovely server! We managed about 10 cocktails (which is our record, and we are seasoned bottomless brunchers). The aperol spritzes were perfect and the food was so good for allergies (I'm gluten free!) I recommend the beef burger. We hadn’t been to a Turtle Bay for years and then my daughter asked to go whilst we were visiting Liverpool - wow. The service was absolutely fantastic and everything was spot on from being greeted to the wonderful food we ordered.

Visited today and was really disappointed with complete lack of understanding of foods available and suitable for coeliacs. Gluten free options are advertised but the staff we encountered were oblivious as to what I could have and the dietary ingredients/allergens in the foods they were serving. Definitely not recommended for coeliacs!!! The staff did not have a clue.
