This was a fabulous dining experience! Plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. The reason that I knocked off one star is that the dhal I ordered was so insanely salty! But it was very tasty. The atmosphere is awesome. It is a great place to meet up with friends.

Yesterday was my first visit and I so wanted to like this place. We ordered two pizzas for takeaway to be eaten in the car after soccer practice and even though I asked for hand tossed crust I was given the thinnest, toughest crust I’ve ever seen in my life for BOTH pizzas. Something was so off with the dough. We could barely chew it and of course it couldn’t hold many toppings or much sauce so it was basically like paying over $40 for cardboard with the idea of toppings. Hardly any cheese, sauce, even the actual toppings. It looked nothing like the menu pics. Out of 12” I’d say 2” minimum was outer rim too. I’ve had store brand frozen pizza that was better value than this pizza! Three teens and myself but we still didn’t finish it despite being hungry and teens don’t usually forgo any kind of pizza!. We came home and ate leftovers from yesterday instead. Too bad because I had heard good reviews about other menu items and the actual crust I paid for. The chef should really pay attention and there should be quality standards on toppings and gluten in the crust.

Kennedy was lovely. We ordered the fried wontons, steamed dumplings, and Drunken Whale sushi roll. The dumplings and the wonton dipping sauce are excellent. The wontons had a good ratio of filling. They look like large tortellini’s. I didn’t love the sushi but it’s a personal preference. It had scallions and the taste was overpowering. The ingredients tasted fresh despite that. The space is larger than expected and it’s very loud. It looked like a lot of business dinners and we did not see any kids in there. They have gluten free soy sauce available and the menu specifies gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.
EDIT: We went a second time and tried a few new items. The miso soup was perfect. The edamame was fine but there wasn’t enough salt and they used salt crystals so sometimes it was unpleasant to chew. We tried three desserts and realized this was where the food was most lacking. The lemon sorbet was exactly as expected. The Filipino Flan was grainy and overcooked. The Flan is supposed to be more dense than traditional Cuban flan, but it still wasn’t that good. Third was a Ying Yang and it’s supposed to be a sticky rice dessert but it was more mushy than anything. Also, not enough of the liquid. Doesn’t change our rating but wanted to update and include!
