Brilliant experience. Being celiac, and lactose intolerant, going anywhere is often difficult and problematic. At Active Diner I was welcomed and not looked at like an inconvenience, when I try to be anything but. One of the senior staff members assisted me with ordering, oversaw my food being made, and spent a reasonable length of time explaining all sorts of things to me, with nothing but care and compassion. This staff member also urged me to check in after to make sure I was okay, just so they know their celiac processes are still up to standard. So here I am in a way following up. The food was amazing, the taste was sensational and the service was something so rarely seen nowadays. The best thing too, I am not sick which is such a great feeling after eating out anywhere.
Thank you so much everyone at Active Diner, your generosity was beyond appreciated.
Charming spot with a kids' playground, perfect for families seeking a cozy vibe and a variety of tasty options for all ages.

Tasty pasta. Rissoto was ok. They were very accommodating of kids with a little playground to. They had gluten free pasta and even made a grilled chicken and chips for my daughter as she wasn't keen on the menu.
Ordered a gluten free beef and onion with perri perri sauce added. No perri perri sauce and very few toppings when wife opened pizza at home. Bad enough needing to order a gluten free pizza let alone missing the added special sauce and hardly any base toppings....despite alleged quality checks. Boss understandably not happy. Over the years this store has been "hit and miss" for us in terms of quality and we have boycotted Dominos for a while before and guess we will again. I guess cheap pizzas are just that.
