Just discovered a gem of a coffee shop! The coffee is rich and perfectly brewed, and the cake selection is absolutely top-tier (even with gluten free options!). Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and treats worth coming back for. Highly recommend!
Vegans: avoid please.
Owner explained to a group of 4 vegans FOUR times recently that it was not feasible to adjust their food their requirements, which they ignored and acted entitled as they repeatedly continued to demanded service, alternatives were offered and refused, eventually the owner had to bluntly tell them to leave. This rude behaviour is why vegans are often unwelcomed. If these vegans are motivated by compassion, their behaviour is limited and hypocritical.
Thai food often includes fish sauce and various crustaceans. Making an vegan alternative requires time and research which may not be cost effective to a business in a small town.
Owner articulated that each meals was freshly cooked which is why he articulated a realistic and accurate wait time. He also offered useful travel tips.

Passing through Colac and fortunately stopped for breakfast at Gravity Cafe. Beautifully decorated with some amazing paintings on the walls. Great food and coffee and they cater well for gluten free.
