Wow this place was just awesome. We walked in and every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming making them feel like they know you, not just that but the food was so incredible and great quality. I wish this cafe was my local. If your looking for great food in a cosy and warm atmosphere than this is the place. Also if you are gluten free there are lots of options so you'll be looked after. Have just recently discovered this lovely cafe/bakery and have now been several times. Fabulous food options, hot and cold, coffee and service great too. Nice to have several gluten free options as well, sweet and savoury!!! Recommend a visit.
Helpful staff. They understood gluten free needs. Steak sandwich was generous, tasty and presented beautifully, with a generous serving of potato chips. Mango smoothy was delicious. I would be happy to both recommend Espresso Garden Cafe and to go back.

Great place with very good food and coffee but what made it a standout was the fantastic service. A young guy named Matt went above and beyond to give each of us what we asked for. It seems that poached eggs on normal toast (not ferkin sourdough or gluten free cardboard) is an insurmountable challenge for nearly all these days but Columbus did it superbly. Added some Bacon and even a milkshake with a little lateral thinking by Matt. Thanks, will definitely be back.

Seriously the BEST subway in NZ! From the extremely clean restaurant , friendly happy staff, to the full VIP gluten free preparation service we had the most amazing experience here! Ordered lunch at 11.30am, enquired at 12pm where food was, was told food was coming they only had one chef on, about 45mins later asked again, and was told our food order was never printed in the kitchen, she fast tracked our meal was delivered in under 10mins, then one meal was incomplete and had not gluten free bread, after 1hr we finally had our meals and offered a free 1 coffee only voucher as compensation. Very disappointed
Food was beautiful,well presented,good size portions. Only down fall was menu's were very small print, hard to read and gluten free options had / through them was very hard to tell. But would still go back as staff were friendly.

Love this place! Great staff really good vegan options and gluten free options, including a naan bread made with chickpea flour (it's more like a giant papadum but still very yum).
Best Indian restaurant in North Canterbury. Love going with friends every few weeks. Great menu. Friendly staff. Gluten free options. Looking forward to next time.

This is our favourite Chinese restaurant! The menu choices are excellent, the meals are a fabulous size, plus they have gluten free menu's so you can order accordingly. We celebrated mother's day there with 6 adults, two children under 5 and 2 babies. There are no baby changing facilities and one of the toilet seats (in the disabled toilet) had a cracked seat, not very pleasant to sit on plus it would be a germ risk.
