Wow. Great service and great food. The chef even came out of the kitchen to discuss what was safe to eat for someone who is gluten free. The tea was served in a cute cup and teapot set. Kids loved there food too. Thank you.
A hidden gem with an impressive varied menu, delicious pizzas, and a cozy vibe, though smokers can be a slight setback on the patio.

We stopped in waihi for lunch over a Monday public holiday, and there wasn't much open. We stumbled on this place, and I was impressed with the gluten-free options that I could eat. The kids' menu was varied, and there were menus for burgers, pizza, all-day breakfast, and lunch.
The staff were lovely and helpful in dealing with our complex order (autistic kids and dietary requirements). All food came out as ordered.
I had the kumara, chicken, and feta pizza with a gluten-free base, and it was hands down the best pizza I've had. Kids had pancakes, which they inhaled, and my partner had the chicken burger, which he said was the juiciest chicken burger he'd had.
This was also hands down one of the best value meals we've had!
The only challenging aspect was that smokers were allowed to smoke at the outdoor dining area, and the wind blew the smoke back inside through the front floor and lovely gold back window, smoking out the front section of the Cafe. We moved twice to get away from the smoke.
Good Pizza! Our group had tricky dietary requirements but they were actually easily able to make Gluten-free, vegan and tomato-free tasty Pizza! Definitely recommend them.
