Upon entering the pub was gorgeously decorated and very welcoming. We got seated and service was very prompt.
I wanted to come here as i am gluten free and have heard the food was amazing.
And i can safely say that gluten or no gluten the food is exceptional. I had the gluten free cajun burger and gluten free sticky toffee pudding. You wouldnt know that its gluten free at all!
My husband had normal burger and a sundae and he said everything for him was perfect too.

Fantastic gluten free rock in batter with chips. Tartare sauce too, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Even swapped the vinegar for a gluten free one.
The food and location are lovely. The staff were very friendly. It got a bit busy, so it took a while to order. But the gluten-free options weren't clear or marked on the menu. When you order the server will help make your meal allergen free. Maybe this could be signposted on the menu.
Very much recommend coming here for breakfast! The menu had many vegan and gluten free options for my family and was delicious. Lovely staff who made sure we had everything we needed, will definitely be coming back!
The food was great, extensive menu and probably the best gluten free toast I've experienced. But it was slightly off the mark in lots of ways, we were kept waiting a long time despite pre booking, the (one) toilet, is always busy and you queue where they have lots of boxes of storage...we visited twice when in the area and both times just one member of our party was kept waiting for their food a considerable length of time longer than the rest. The second visit we were all waiting over an hour and a half for food. Our waitress was very lovely and enthusiastic but unfortunately it just didn't make up for the short comings
Decided to go out last minute and was left really impressed by both the service and food. Our waitress Kayleigh went above and beyond helping with my allergies as I'm gluten intolerant. I will definitely to my friends.
Nice pub with an open fire, lovely atmosphere on a cold November day. Food was good and arrived promptly. Ghost Ship on tap was very nice. Attentive service. Could do with more Gluten Free options on the menu.
Delicious food and excellent service. Being coeliac I felt very well looked after throughout the evening and there were many gluten free options for me to enjoy across all three courses. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!
